What do you think about the relationship between an ISFP and an INTP?
If they were siblings? partners? friends? parent to child?
Would they get a long? or would they?
Take me as an example: I being an INTP female, how would I relate to an ISFP male?

Two words: Mutual Misunderstanding.
Some people say it is love love and more love, but if we follow MBTI on a theoretical level, you should expect a relationship that is less than ideal. But people come in so many different shades and you are bound to meet an ISFP male which you want to make babies with, or something like that.
Well, if you're interested in a discussion about the theory behind this relationship, you can check out this thread: ISFP and INTP
In my experience with two ISFPs, it's like there's nothing there that could be called interesting. We get along fine. There's just never anything to talk about. Nothing that excites me excites them and vice versa. Of course, I'm sure it could go better if both parties show some effort to understand each other.
Nothing interesting?
It's funny, as an INTP, I think I may be the largest ISFP advocate. Haha.
I've spent the past 6 years + of my life growing up with this particular one, and it's the best relationship I've ever had.
It's ENTIRELY up to the way the two of you look at things, to be honest.
Cuz yea, it's true. There isn't too much in common.
But. The two of you reaaaaallllllyyyyyy like existing. and ISFP's like to be understood and appreciated, and INTP's like to problem solve and understand complex systems.
And let me tell you. An ISFP is the most ridiculously fascinating functioning thing I've met. BECAUSE we literally experience everything completely oppositely, it's just a complete mindfuck whenever we relate about something, which we do all the time, because we understand that we do it opposite. Same destination, opposite directions kinda deal.
And it's mutual, because as an ISFP, once the initial him-getting-used-to-how-INTP's-do (which we had the benefit of happening years and years ago), it's easier for him to recognize when he's being appreciated, because he knows how much I REALLY REALLY ENJOY AND APPRECIATE every single time I am in a situation when I'm all "What the fuck. Are you serious? So what are you saying you do? That's ridiculous. How the fuck do you come to that conclusion?", he can look at it as a good thing because he understands it, as opposed to taking it personally and wanting to distance himself. And this fulfills their need to feel at peace and accepted so they can be comfortable, because they recognize the curiosity as a type of affection. Kinda.
It's a very complicated thing to explain, you can imagine. Haha. :)
I tried, though.
*shrugs*

I think that my best friend in high school was ISFP. We were very close until the summer following my sophomore year of college, when my Ti grew to high prominence. Part of why I stopped being friends with her were for the reasons you state that ISFPs are not interesting to you. I was tired of her ignoring me when I talked about science and technology, and I was tired of talking about people.
I'm just drawing from my own experience here.
I grew up with an ISFP. I had my brother take the MBTI and his results were ISFP. I suppose this is one of the reasons why I can easily see myself as an INFP. I find I switch back and forth between INFP and INTP, confusing myself in concluding to which one I may be. I like both and I am both, I'm neither one or the other.I don't know. Is this possible?
It was interesting to me how siblings could have enigmatic relations according to the temperament types. We get along just fine and he is the closest person to me in my life so it makes it easier for us when we communicate. Although, our conversations can get difficult. When I start thinking abstractly ( I have a high N) he gets irritated, so we always try to find 'ground base' because we think on different spectrums. Also, what he has concerns for are things I enjoy laughing at because they are so ridiculous and pointless. It goes both ways...
I'm not going to share anymore than that.
On the other hand, it doesn't take much for us to have consensus. We have learned to contribute to each other and all we do is listen to one another. We have a really interesting relationship. It has been an odd experience growing up with my brother.
I've for some time found it interesting to find an ISFP to be friends with because we see the world so differently that it must be really interesting, well in a theoretical sense.
I used to be friends with a girl who was ISFP, and for the most part our relationship was pretty boring. Not to say it didn't have its positives, but whenever I tried to discuss about anything on an abstract level she would just listen and not contribute anything conversationally, which I found to be tiresome to have someone passively agree with you all the time. And for some reason I also felt I always had to initiate everything in the relationship, which I hated, and I'm not someone follows through their plans frequently so whenever we (or should I say I) planned to do something it never came through because we were both waiting for the other person to take charge.
But there were some things I liked about her, like being able to hang around her without having to converse whenever I didn't feel like it. She was a very quiet person who appreciated silence just as much as I did, so we could be around each other without the pressure of having to say something.
I have absolutely no answer to your question, but it's just really odd how many articles there are on the ISFP area about ISFP/INTP relations, either ISFP's talking about INTP's or INTP's asking about ISFP's. Sorry I'm really new to this and I don't really trust psychology. Wish I had an answer for you.
