    Mandela Effect/Memory Errors

This isn't really related to ISFP's but what are your experiences with this? Have you and someone else ever had really strong conflicting memories? Some people try and make it out to be about alternate timelines etc. but even if you think that's far fetched it doesn't mean it's not worth talking about. Sometimes I think people are too quick to rationalize things and go "move along here, nothing to see".

Here's a list of some common ones:

Not sure if this is the same thing but, I got a story:

I got into a fist fight in 6th grade with TWO of my "Friends" at the same time. I fought with the first one because he kept being a douche at the basketball courts throwing the ball unnecessarily hard at me. I grabbed the ball and chucked it as hard as I could at him, he didn't appreciate it so he came at me. Our other friend jumped in to and I guess he liked him more than me, he came up with a frozen waterbottle trying to smash me in the face with it. I managed to fend off both of them with relatively no injuries.

In 7th grade we were talking about all of our fist fights, and I reminded them of ours. The kid with the water bottle barely remembered, while the other kid said that I was lying for "attention" and managed to convince everyone that I'm a liar by saying that it never happened at all, it wasn't until everyone accused me of being a liar did he go "Oh, now I remember." He truly was the most toxic person I have ever met. Unfortunately this would not be my last run in with him, lets just say later he would break "guy code".

So ya, not sure if that what you where talking about, but there you go.

The Berenstein vs Berenstain Bears really bothers me... I distinctly remember it being spelled as Berenstein. .-.

I talked about it recently with a friend (an INTP) who told me that it was probably just a "tendency for spelling based on vocalization to be incorrect in cases of unusual spelling" which I can see can be true, but I'm really certain that my memory isn't wrong. Oh wells.

I don't even wanna know what that last bit means.. It sounds like he knew and was just trying to force his lie as the version of events? So yeah that's pretty lame.

That was the example that introduced me to it and freaked me out a little. The one that really got me was this though: Henry VIII Portrait with Turkey Leg | The Mandela Effect Something about it is really creepy. Like your friend said though there are a few ways it could be explained.
    Fire Away thanked this post.
