Ah just thought of some more.

    Maria Rainer (Sound of Music)

(srry to get distracted. But the refreshing florescent blue and deep energetic rich green of the grass is so lovely. And those mountains ; w ; so beautiful. I love it.)

I love typing fictional characters! :D (Especially ISFPs.) An ISTP friend & I have been having a lot of fun lately discussing the MBTI & cognitive functions, and analyzing fictional characters & typing them. I could be wrong on some of these, of course, but these are the ones I'm pretty certain about. (There are some I'd love to claim, like Belle, but we think she's INFP. Same thing with Luke Skywalker. I love him, but after a lot of analyzing, we're pretty sure he's INFP. And Sybil, from Downton Abbey. (Likely INFP; possibly ENFP, but I really think INFP.) I adore Legolas, but we think he's probably ISTP. Though I would love to claim him. I like Rory from Doctor Who, but we think he's an ISFJ. Kaylee from Firefly is often typed as an ISFP, but we are certain she's ESFP. Maria from The Sound of Music is ENFP. ) And if an ISTP (Ti dom, Fe inf) & ISFP (Fi dom, Te inf) agree on something, there's a good chance it's right! (His dom Ti & my inf Te occasionally clash, and we don't always agree, hehe.) But anyway...

    Some of my favorites:

Harry Potter (love him! And yeah - he's definitely an ISFP)
    Snow - Once Upon a Time :D
    Shawn - Boy Meets World
    Roger - RENT
Mulan - from the Disney movie, not OUAT (I think that one's ISTJ)
Will Turner - Pirates of the Caribbean (I've seen him typed as ISTP or ISFJ, but I'm certain he's ISFP)
Aurora - Sleeping Beauty (again, from the Disney movie, not OUAT) :)
    Duncan Kane - Veronica Mars
    Neville - Harry Potter
Toothless - How to Train Your Dragon (though he could be ESFP) :)

Those are the only ones where I've watched enough & analyzed enough to be sure of their type. (I haven't seen Snow White & the Huntsman, for example.) I could see Bella from Twilight as an ISFP, but...ugh.

And I have watched Smallville & Glee, & could see Lana Lang & Finn as ISFPs, but I haven't analyzed them enough to be sure. :)

I also think Angel (from Buffy/Angel), Marty (from Back to the Future), Davey (from Newsies), & Evey (from V for Vendetta) could possibly be ISFPs.

(Disney) Pocahontas- Rebellious nature, wanting to choose her own path, a deep connection with nature, talking to trees and animals. Going agianst a social norm (John Smith, even Pocahontas friend thought she was being reckless, and didn't understand), just listen to the lyrics of colors of the wind and tell me that isn't ISFP thinking. Following her feelings and doing things simply because they felt right (cliff diving). Those behaviours just doesn't seem very INFJ. Due to her rebellious nature. Then the whole running scared from john smith when she first encountered john smith.
actually she was under a spell. But yeah, I totally see her as an ISFP. although I see Poca as INFP, because her intuition is a huge trait in the movie- she just KNOWS the dream about the arrow means something important, she's very in touch with her spiritual side and doesn't care about practical things, to the point that she kind of lacks common sense.

I was reading the Biblical people's MBTI types thread here, and now I think Eve is an ISFP. Makes sense now that I think about it... she's tempted by the apple's BEAUTY and the fact that it probably tastes delicious, she is the helper not the leader, she didn't stop to think about any consequences of what might happen later if she disobeyed God, she was just enjoying the moment and the current idea of getting wisdom. (this makes more sense when you figure that Adam must be her opposite, since they're to complete one another, and he is the leader, the one who organizes/names every single animal, and knows better than Eve about taking a bite. so if he is an ENTJ, she would likely be an ISFP.) I also have a hunch Ruth, my absolute favorite Bible woman ever, who I always related to and admired, is an ISFP. She very well could be the loyal and devoted ISFJ, but let's think about it: she is perfectly fine obeying Naomi and following out both her and Boaz's plans, she's flexible (leaving the only home you ever knew is no small feat but she was fine with it), an independent worker who didn't seek company or praise of others. NOTE: I just remembered the thread says 'fictional'. My bad. I don't believe any of those people are fic, but I thought some of you might like to type them too.

I'm not really into typing ISFP characters because I don't like to boast about our type but whatever here's my list.

    Claire Bennett - Heroes
    Kate Austen - Lost
Rick Grimes - The Walking Dead
Winnie The Pooh - Winnie The Pooh
    Ice Man - X-men
    Rogue - X-men
    Kitty Pride - X-men
    Iron Fist - Marvel Comics
Yoshimori Sumimura - Kekkaishi (Definitely ISFP, He bakes gorgeous cakes and fights demons)
    Danny Matheson - Revolution
    Chris Griffin - Family Guy
Sora - Kingdom Hearts (My favorite game)
    Tarzan - Tarzan
    Mulan - Mulan
Primrose Everdeen - The Hunger Games
    Henry Hill - Goodfellas
Quasimodo - The Hunchback of Notre-Dame
    Lucy - Elfen Lied
Randy Disher - Monk (quite certain)
    Tommy Pickle - Rugrats
Aang - Avatar the Last airbender (I'm not biased at all...that said, I believe this one is ISFP not ENFP. Why? Because He took things at face value, he's a show-off, he runs away from responsibility, hence, the destruction of the airbending race, he loves animals, kids & nature, he fears the avatar state because he fears of losing himself, he's self-destructive, hes a master tactician, he can get aggressive if he wants, he's impatient, he's light on his feet and hes very physically oriented. I could see some ENFP traits but I mostly see SP traits specifically ISFP. I might have to give this more thought but I'm quite certain he has a preference for sensing. If you notice he very rarely looked into things for hidden meaning unless his life depended on it...So that's my argument.)

Does Kitty from X-Men Evolution count? Cuz she and the one form movies is what I've seen, and I friggin loved Evolution Kitty! I definitely agree with Quasi too. Mulan is difficult to do, though I always thought she was INFJ, perhaps a thinker but I didn't getting that vibe. Tommy is always typed as an ISFP which is surprising because he's outspoken and likes meeting people. and your argument about Aang does make sense, though like Tommy, I always saw him as introverted too. But I wish there was at least one ISFP on the show. they seem to have every single type but us ;(

That makes sense. Congratulations, an ISFP was the first type to sin! And as you can tell from the same thread, I though Maciah was an ISFP too.

What makes you think winnie the pooh is an ISFP? I personally can't relate to him. And from what I can tell, I would agree that Primrose is an ISFP. Though I have just read the first two chapters.

And Austin from The Backyardigans seems like an IxFP 12.jpg

@Wintercat I don't know much about Kitty but I've seen her typed as ISFP many times. Mulan I think is definitely a Dom Fi user. Her song 'Reflection' is about being someone else and she can't stand it. She really badly wants to be who she is inside. She's also physically oriented and a very quick learner. Those two factors alone narrowed down my choice to ISFP.

@Fuzbal I only typed him as ISFP because I've seen him typed as ISFP many times. I agree that I can't relate to him as much but I can see some traits of ISFP in him; He's loyal, friendly, adventurous, lazy, and hedonistic. I am actually too lazy to type him myself but what type would you say he is in your opinion?

@BleaK I can't be entirely sure, but he seems like an ESTP with a learning disability. I can understand, that to people that aren't ISFP's he kind of looks like one, but a lot of ISFP's can't relate to him. The problem is: if he isn't an ISFP what is he? an ESTP is my best guess. Whatever he is, I am pretty sure he is an S.
