ISFJ's - In your life what is your biggest problem?

For each personality type I would like to know What do you struggle with the most in life? Problems you try to overcome but seem to never find that perfect solution? Please answer only in your personality type. I want to learn more about each type so I can grow as a person.

For me as an INFP, my biggest problem is extreme difficulties dealing with other people. I have very intense emotions that makes life very difficult at times.

The MBTI... It's taken over my life. That's my problem...

On a more serious note. My biggest (and I have parents that knew this since I first went to preschool) problem has been social interaction. I've always been slow at communication skills.

That is a big one. In today's world they expect everyone to be an extrovert. And we are not all like that. And I think if we don't want to have much social interaction that should be OK.

Well, it's not easy for me to make friends because I want to. The only way I can have friendship these days is by being loyal to someone. It's uncommon for me to make friends with someone because I liked them. I can only attempt to improve a friendship.

Following a group. It's like handling a helicopter in stormy weather

I don't like following a group. That always ends up badly for me so I stopped doing that years ago. Not that I was ever into that much anyway.

Mine is probably my desire to be thought of as dependable and reliable. It's one of my core characteristics and it does push me to do a lot of the things that I like about myself but it's also why I end up allowing myself to get taken advantage of or rolled over. It also is a great source of stress as I try my damnedest to please everyone even in situations at which that's completely impossible so I end up stressing and running myself only to STILL end up with people upset with me.

Fortunately I've been learning when to recognize a situation as something I am limited to working in and to accept that I can only do so much in a given period of time. It's still a work in progress though.

My insecurity. I don't know if that is an ISFJ thing, but it's by far my biggest challenge. Everything I don't like about myself stems from being insecure.

I can definitely see a low-confidence trend in ISFJs. Mine's been relatively low, but at least I don't show it to others. That would just make me vulnerable you know?

I know I am a recently discovered ISFJ, and I hope people accept me... , but I don't have a low-confidence. The only time it's low is in front of big audiences.

I'd have to say that it's a combination of all of the above my fellow ISFJ's have said. It's really frustrating. I wish that the person I am when I'm with my best friend (INTP) and my brother(also INTP) would shine through a lot more when meeting new people. On this one site it shows a chart and it explains that INTP's are ISFJ's Activity partner. And I guess both Introverts somehow become Extrovert when in each others company.
