What Personality Type Brings Out the Best in Me, ISFJ?

I have found that when I hang out with different people I am different. I enjoy being fun, interesting, active and creative.

    QUESTION:

    1. What personality type do you think would best bring out these kind of traits in me?

    2. Would that personality type still bring out those traits if it was a guy I liked?

BACKGROUND STORY: I have only been in one serious relationship and it was with a guy I knew didn't fit my personality. We never really know what to do while hanging out other then watch movies, go on the computer or "have fun". He was really quiet and I found that when I was with him I never really had anything to say out loud. I would have many random things pop in my head, and I have voiced them out a few times, but he never seemed interested. I just started to keep them to myself. But with other people I could talk and talk and talk about anything and everything. (I cared too much of what he would think of me because I liked him? Or he just didn't really bring out the fun talkative side of me?)

QUESTION: What personality type would be best for a relationship?

    Thanks :)

I don't know the nitty gritty of the theory, but I've heard that someone with the same cognitive functions in a different order is interesting for a relationship or exciting....for example INTPs have the same cogs in a different order, but sometimes they're still difficult to understand or get along with at first (especially as a younger person)...but you can understand consciously where they're coming from eventually as the both of you develop...

My personal opinion is that type isn't relevant for my/a relationship....I look for other things...mostly how we make each other feel and true appreciation of understanding of each other (values and interests too and them understanding me). My first love sort of understood me more than I did myself.

Cheers and welcome to the forum!!!

Hmm.. seems like you need to meet an ESTP! We're very outgoing, fun and just in general, great people to be with! Depending on the ESTP, he can fill in your weaknesses and bring you up when you're down :)
