    A thread to talk about movies you like, movies you've just seen, and most importantly, discussion. I love to talk about movies, and not just hear people say "I like this movie" I like to know why. So I hope some other people feel this way towards movies, I'll start off with my top 27, which is always changing. 1. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

    Just saw limitless.

    Thought it was pathetic. Bad acting, bad plot. In fact there was no plot, it was just some random guy experiencing some drug and thats it.

    Best movies I've seen;

    The New World
    Inception
    The way back

    @Niccolo Machiavelli - Not so much the explanation than the conversation that ensues :P I have not heard of that movie before (I dont think:P)

    @OscarHollywood - I wasnt too interested in Limitless myself, too bad i was no good though :P I like Inception as well, for the typical question, was he awake? I personally dont think so, but Im open to suggestions. Have you perchance seen Super 8? Thats the best movie Ive seen in theaters recently, really cool.

    @bob_toeback

    There was no concrete evidence to suggest he wasn't awake. People created that possibility with there imaginations. I remember watching K-pax with kevin spacey and a friends dad was dead-set believing that he was not an alien. Once again, people who watched the movie created that theory after, when there was no evidence to support it. I think Directors have fun throwing in little hints, wondering if people will pick up on them and create big ideas from them.

    jus my thoughts, nom sayin?

    @OscarHollywood - Well personally I believe that with Inception there is no real answer because there is enough evidence to support whatever conclusion you come to. What Im basing it on is that if they shoot themlseves in Limbo, I dont know exactly what would happen from there. So I dunno lol. and if he is still aspleep, I think its a better ending :P anyway I get what your saying, I mean, you can gather what you want, however i dont think you need to get out of a movie what a director put there. If theres more to be sid which wasnt intended, thats great. You think so?

    @Mendi the ISFJ - I like Dramas as well :D Have not seen Apocalypto though, I remember hearing of it. Isnt there no speaking in it at all?

    There is speaking, the entire movie is in Yucatec Maya, and i really enjoy that they would take the time to do this, id imagine it was a huge undertaking! Dont worry there are English subtitles if you dont speak the language.

    @Mendi the ISFJ - Oh I see, maybe I'll check it out sometime, not sure :P But yeah that is cool they go through the trouble and get the language a stuff. Not sure why I thought there was no speaking >> :P think my brother said that once.

    Oh man, I watched "The Town" with my friends a few months ago. NEVER AGAIN! I'm not good with violence.
    I'm not one for scary movies either.

    My favorite movie would probably be "Balto", which I have loved since I was a little and I'm awfully sentimental about it. XD
    My other favorite movie would have to be "Pride & Prejudice", I love the story and I'm a sucker for romance stories.
