1. Comedy, Action, and Suspense/Thriller. I'd love to enjoy emotionally-intense movies (from romance to horror), but it can be too much.

4. Definitely at home. Nice and quiet, and my TV is big enough to be relatively comparable to a theatre screen.
5. Will Ferrell. Jason Statham only makes it on my list because he's in so many bad, bad movies that are ironically hilarious. Because he plays the same character in every. single. movie. Lastly...Liam Neeson. Badass.
6. Not usually, you'd have to force me to because I'm against watching things not in English (for some reason). Pan's Labyrinth, however, good movie...not expected.
7. Black Hawk Down, Zoolander...ehh, don't make me pick a third, I'll go with Gladiator.

At home...I have no money and the intense noise at cinemas often give me headaches.

I never remember the names of actors, unless in long running series... So I will give you:

Well...Australia does not make many of its own movies
the english murder mystery/ Sci- fi would be my favourite
Im occasionally in the mood for a good subtitled movie... The jokes are often funnier when lost in translation

The hitchhikers guide to the galaxy (that may be due to my love of the radio show and book though)

I like a mix of genres actually. Anything that's good, I watch. I find that I gravitate mostly to action and suspense/thriller movies, but fantasy is my main. I like certain science fiction films as well, like I-Robot and Artificial Intelligence.

Last Saturday.

HP DH Pt 2.

Theatre.

Actors- Alan Rickman, Robert Downey Jr.

Actresses- Dakota Fanning, Anna Sophia Robb and Julie Andrews.

Seriously though, I don't quite like many celebrities. I think society focuses too much on actors/actresses who only look good but can't act to save their lives. It's so superficial, and I really detest that.

Yeah, I like Audrey Tatau. I think she's a good actress. I'm thinking of watching her new film, Beautiful Lies.

- Lord of the Rings
-Harry Potter (1-4 and DH. I hate 5-6 because they weren't good at all.)

1. What genre of movies do you enjoy the most?
All of them. So long as the movie is well made, has a good plot, interesting characters and acted well I'm in. Sadly a lot of movies have none of the above. Those can be enjoyable but will never be enduring favourites.

Last week to see HPDH2.

In theatres? DH2, at home - Lesbian Vampire Killers

I prefer the crispness of bluray at home (since getting bluray all 2D theatre movies look fuzzy and out of focus), but I do love the experience of being at a movie theatre and seeing them big screen and many movies NEED to be big to gain full appreciation.

5. Who are your favorite actors/actresses? (max 3)
Gary Oldman, James McAvoy and Julie Walters. Yep, they're all British - I prefer British actors and almost always british movies.

Yep. I can count on the fingers of both hands the amount of truly exceptional NZ movies. We make interesting, quirky movies but they aren't always actually good.

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince - though this one is mostly because of the beautiful cinematography. I became a bit of a fan and have seen other Delbonnel movies since then, and they are universally gorgeous too.

In the dollar movies. You get the communal atmosphere as well as the ability to whisper and giggle all you want.
