What types do you think you generally get along with the least?

Yes, yes, yes...I know what some of you are thinking. "I look at people as people, not types. I treat all types the same, and I don't stereotype people based on their type. I get along with all types equally, there are people I like of all types and people I don't like of all types."

And yes, I understand that, and that's all fine and good. When I ask this question, I'm not trying to say that we are prejudiced against certain types and are unwilling to give them a chance and get along with them.

I'm curious to hear you answers generally based on your past experiences. Looking back on all of your past interactions with people, are there any types that you particularly have had trouble getting along with?

I actually don't think this is going to be the same or even similar among the ISFJ's, and that's part of the reason why I'm posting it, because I'm curious to see what different ISFJs' different experiences are.

But like I said, this is just for my interest and curiosity, you don't need to take it too seriously.

I tend not to get along with ESFJs. We just don't seem to get each other. They seem to think I'm weird and flaky and I often find them bossy and close minded. It could just be the ones I've met though....and oh sorry I just saw this was a question to isfjs

I have done a lot of research on this, because I have wondered why myself and others do not get along so well. What I have come to find is that dominant judgers that differ functionally from my own are who I have the most problem building a stable relationship.

ENTJ's are who I have the most friction with, but this is normally due to person(how they use what they have), not really the type. I tend to get along better with INTJ's.

Functionally, INFP's and even more so ISFP's, can be difficult to deal with, as they have trouble understanding Si. ENFP's though I get along with really well.

ENFJ's can be a bit taxing, as well as ESFJ to a similar extent. Once more though, its individual based.
INFJ's are a polar dichotomy; Either I get a long with them the best or the worst.

ENTP's are a 50/50 thing, its interesting. I can connect with their Ti, but not Ne. I get along really well with INTP's.

This, of course, is all general and does not cover all the types as I lack a large enough test sample.

Hee hee...that's fine, it's just that I was particularly curious about the ISFJ perception.

Yeah, see, that's the thing, and that's kind of what made me make this thread. I also have the most friction with ENTJ's, but in another thread ISFJ's were saying that they got along great with them. So it definitely depends on an individual's experiences, particularly because it's possible to mis-type someone we don't get along with. And of course, there can be a lot of variation in one type, and that can greatly affect these perceptions.

But that's why I'm not taking this thread too seriously, I'm just curious to see the different potential answers people have based on their experiences. It would be neat to see a pattern, but not only am I not expecting one, but I know that even if there was one, it wouldn't mean anything.

Interesting thread! I'll have to come back to it some time in the future since I'm not aware of the types of most people I don't get along with, and I don't think I have a wide enough sample anyways.

    Let's see...

I know one ENTJ, and I tend to alternate between thinking he's really not that bad and outright loathing him...but he's probably not the best example of an ENTJ since he's often a complete bully.

ENTPs...the one ENTP I do know I find a very interesting person. I think we both misunderstand each other a lot, which does cause conflict, but we don't get along too badly.

Hmm, I'm not sure. All the above is pretty biased since I haven't really typed enough people to speak generally. I'm gonna keep tabs on this thread though, it's very interesting. In the meantime I'll have to go out and type more people

i try to get along with everybody, i am really not sure. the most difficult interaction i have in real life is with an intj. but the intjs i have seen around this forum are not difficult to interact with at all! i think part of the reason i am bad at interacting with the intj in real life is because as well as being an intj, the type i have the most difficulty interacting with in general, he is a bit genuinely mean. not just like the "intj=asshole" but he is genuinely mean, he will hit people and trip them when they are walking and laugh at them and insult them and so on because he thinks it is amusing. for me, i don't really tend to have issues with people of a certain type, i just have issues with certain people who happen to be a specific type. because the people i don't get along with are so varied i am definitely confident in saying it is more an individual thing than a type thing. there is no median for types i consistently dislike. i'm sorry this answer wasn't exactly what you were looking for.

    Coming from an INFJ.....ESTJ's

I love them most of the time, but when it comes to how we think and function and view things.....REALLY DIFFERENT.

    INTJ - The Scientists

I suppose it's too obvious to bother saying, but...

ESFPs. They'll often try to engage me in small talk I literally can't meet them halfway in no matter how hard I try. I'll open my mouth, and have it open for ten seconds, before stammering out a single word response to their questions.

Or... statements? How am I supposed to respond to a statement that leaves open no room for a response? I don't even get how they communicate with eachother in this fashion.

I just want to jump in and second everything Trigun said (minus the INFJs because I don't know any). I know I said in the other thread that the 1 (or 2) ENTJs I know are cool - but I used to think she was quite annoying. It can be very hard to appreciate someone who always have another angle and attitude than yourself, but if you move passed that you may find that you complement each other.

I find it funny that most people seem to dislike ENTJs. One of my best friends is one (I'm pretty sure), and I find her incredibly easy to get along with. She loves to talk, and I find her perspecitve on things quite interesting.

I have another best friend who is an INTJ, and I find him to be fascinating as well. I wish I knew more INTJs.

I can get along with ESxPs and ENxPs (for a short while; they're good for having random adventures ) and the one ESTJ I know is hilarious, if only because he is so blunt and straightforward in his ways.

I tend to not care for Fi and/or Fe dominants. IxFPs are too... how do I put this kindly, emotional? In my experience, they tend to get offended quite easily and try too hard to make sure that things "harmonize". ExFJs... well, if any of you have had any experience with an ExFJ, you should know what I mean. Haha. But really, ExFJs--mostly ESFJs--are wayyyyyyyy too extroverted for me to even stand being around them for extended periods of time. As dominant Feelers, too, the ones I've known tend to make irrational and ignorant assumptions based on little or no information (or especially on myths "they've heard" from other people), which really tends to irritate me. I apologize to any Fi/Fe dominants who don't feel this way, but this is just in my experience.

As for other types, I either don't have enough experience with them to judge or get along withthem just fine.
