    ISFJ "iffy"

I have an ISFJ friend, and I am looking to date her best friend (an ENTJ) however, whenever I talk to the ISFJ about the ENTJ she gets unenthusiastic etc. I finaly asked her what she thought about me and the ENTJ being in a relationship and she said it was "iffy". What does that mean??? I've looked at it from all points of view (that I can think of), and I cant put my finger on why she doesn't like it.

The ISFJ is considered very attractive to the general populous, and the ENTJ is not.
I'm sure the ISFJ doesn't like me(I mean like attracted to, like i'm sure she likes me as a friend)
And I know her as too good of a girl to get 'jealous' (though i could be wrong, because she does like attention)
Anyway she's really nice and goofy and fun, but I don't understand why she thinks the relationship is 'iffy'
She rarely voices her opinions (directly) esp. the negatory ones, so this got me worried.
As far as I can tell we're on good terms, (hopefully she doesn't have any built up resentment against me(?))
So, what could be the problem?

LOL...I think she's jealous. Or maybe she really thinks it's "iffy" since INFJ and ENTJ might have a lot of argument together. No idea.

I've been working on being super passive around people, (I've fallen into two stupid arguments with the ISFJ, but it was a while back :P)

Anytime something makes me annoyed or uncomfortable, I stop showing interest. I tend to assume they will see my intentions and realize it bothers me.

    Example:

Me: Oh you think so? I was thinking of having a wax done sometime soon but I heard it hurts!
Him: Haha yeah, it can. My girlfriend gets it done a lot but she always cries. She's a baby.
    Me: Cool...
Me: Well I got to go make food or something. Bye.

*shrug* Sounds like she either is jealous or doesn't like the person and feels they wouldn't be good for you.

did you try asking her why she thought it was "iffy"? I mean that seems like the most logical and straight forward solution :S
OR am I missing something here? :P

I did, she responded "idk, something just seems off, it could not even be on your side.

I said ok, thanks, I'll do whatever I can to fix the problem if you identify it.

I didn't wanna push things, because it just ends up going downhill

shes afraid of losing you. romantically or not, she harbors some feelings (could be possessive friendship feelings) that you are "hers." to her, this girl you like is imposing on your relationship. she doesn't want to be replaced or left behind. she might even feel the same way about her friend... nobody favors being third wheel.

personally though, i think she does like you romantically. no ISFJ is ever going to admit their romantic feelings because rejection is way too hard on them.
