This may seem random, but I'm curious to see if the kind of animals we prefer has to do with our personality types to an extent. Obviously there will be some variety due to our experiences with them, but I'd like to know your preferences as a whole or at least what draws you to them. I'm also an animal fanatic and we were missing an animal related post. :P

I personally love anything that is either beautiful or really cute(favorite). I love things that appeal to the senses, especially when it's soft or has an odd sensation. My favorite is definately cats, because they're clean over-all, they can take care of themselves fairly well, which fits into my schedule, and they're soft and comforting. My second favorite is tied between horses and birds. I love birds because of the way they look and feel, so they tend to amaze me. I also love bunnies. I find that I tend to go for things which might require a large amount of work or "nurturing" as well.



I've been wondering if S's in general like things that appeal to their five senses, while NT's might like an animal that makes them think. For example, my INTP sister loves horses because they give her a mental work out and let her puzzle solve when she's training them. Any thoughts?

I saw a turtle the other day! I nearly fell over when in my zeal to say hello.

I like cats. Especially domestic. Other cats I like are the Margay and Serval. Another favorite animal would have to be the Aye-Aye, just because I'm sure everyone finds them ugly.

Finally, someone who shares my love of Margays! I'm a little obsessed, along with Snow Leopards. Oh, and I looked up that Aye-Aye(never heard of it) and it's so ugly it's cute. Is it just me, or does it remind one of a gremlin?

I like cats so much! If I didn't study and if I had a lot of money I would like to have a cat.. Oh well..

Cats have always been my favorite pet but lately I'v been falling in love with another animal. Pet pigs. You know the small cute pigs, who can live in your house. They are so cute, and so clean. Actually pigs hate dirt and will do anything to stay clean and they are easy to teach things. And they will eat everything besides meat, and they love to cuddle! :D - To bad it is not aloud to have pet pigs in Denmark :(
