I like cats so much! If I didn't study and if I had a lot of money I would like to have a cat.. Oh well..

My theory when posting this thread was that ISFJs would tend to like cats overall and I was extremely curious to see if I was right. I'm beginning to see a pattern now. I think they may be the best pet for us in general. C:

Cats have always been my favorite pet but lately I'v been falling in love with another animal. Pet pigs. You know the small cute pigs, who can live in your house. They are so cute, and so clean. Actually pigs hate dirt and will do anything to stay clean and they are easy to teach things. And they will eat everything besides meat, and they love to cuddle! :D - To bad it is not aloud to have pet pigs in Denmark :(

I've just recently become a bit interested in them as well. The only thing that keeps me from truly considering to get one is the fact that they grow really big. At least, that's what I researched. xD

I love so many different kinds of animals, but my all-time favorite is the tiger. Tigers are just beautiful and powerful. I don't think my favorite animal correlates to my personality...most of the time. I love all big cats (small ones too).

The Hippopotamus.

I know, I know, but I love the feeling I get mentally when I look at them. Unloved by many, big and different, they have very cute aspects…

Then I love Giraffes, for their lines and angles, the spots, their gentleness, that crazy tongue.

And then Ring-Tailed Lemurs, with that striped tail, mask, quirkiness…

Honestly, I'm a huge animal fan, but I've always been more drawn to other-than-North-American Mammals. Any mammals from South America, Asia, Australia, Africa, I get lots of warm and fuzzy feelings with them. But the animals I might find near me? Not so much.

As pets, I love cats. I like dogs just fine, but for a pet I'd own, I prefer cats. For wild animals, definitely tigers. They're just such beautiful and majestic creatures. I'm intrigued by most animals though - I could spend a ton of time at zoos, and I never feel like I have enough time when I do go to a zoo. Then again, I feel rushed a lot when out doing things for entertainment because people are always hurrying or thinking about deadlines. (off topic :p)

I also really like birds, especially the littlest ones that get around by hopping about.

I like turtles.

And little garden snakes! I held one at a fair a few years ago and it was just the most adorable thing, just slithering through my fingers. Yes, I know this probably sounds super weird.

Aw, don't worry, I'm actually allergic too. I found that after owning a certain cat for a few months, my body learned to cope and build immunity to the dander. Other cats would still bother me, but my cats have no affect now. There just seems to be a trial period when you first get them. I like to suggest Siberians to people with allergies also. They have fur that is more suitable to allergy sufferers. I also like to bathe my cats... lol.

Favorite dinosaur: Stegosaurus, I could actually think of this right away somehow unlike a favorite animal.

Favorite animal(s): Friendly dogs. Ducks...I have a rubber ducky in my car. I like that they're aquatic, can fly, and like to speak quite a bit. They're protective too. Polar bears are cool, of course!

Actually, I like this whe cat thing going on. They're so regal and independent. My next is hawks. Again, because they are intimidating, regal and independent.

As to species, I would say cats, then dogs.But individuals, first is Missy, my pound puppy, 80 pounds of love and devotion, part German shepard, part hound, part indescretion. She would lay down her life for me and I for her.
Had a cat - not my avitar, that's Regis, my wife's cat. My cat was BC, a beautiful black neutered male. One person cat, could call my two-syllable name very clearly. I had to release him from cancer pain last falat 15 uears old. He is buried under the daylilies.
Missy is the last pet I will own. They grieve when their person is gone as much as we grieve their loss.
There was a note about pigs - I have seen 12 week old pigs solve problems on their own. They are super bright. And taste so good!
