Confused 21 years old who's either ENFP or ENTP.

Hello there,

I'm a 21 years old woman (girl?) whom have always been interested in finding out more about my personality and stumbled over the Myers-Briggs/Keirsey test a couple of years ago. Unfortunately I'm not much wiser about which type I am. It's either ENTP or ENFP (Thinking and Feeling are 50%). I'm here to hopefully find out which type I am, and then find out more about it. If you have any input on which type I am, just go on and tell me :)

I'm currently studying International Politics/Relations with French (BSc), and will hopefully take a Master in Political Economy and/or Linguistics in the distant future.

I'm rather ambitious and have always been. As a kid I wanted to become either a World Dictator or Brain Surgeon (as a part of my evil master plan I would find a way to control people's minds). Luckily I grew up and realised it was too much work, too much responsibility, and huge ethical obstacles in my way to bother doing it.

Thankfully I obtained some morality in the end, and am now determined to as much as I can to make the world a better place to live in. I just have to find out where to start.

Other than that I am a slightly geeky, travel-loving, overly curious girl that really gets into trouble too easily.

There are loads of other things I should probably have written more in order to give a more objective and representative image of myself, but I'm afraid I've already bored myself half to death and am scared I've done the same to you guys. If I haven’t, just ask me for more info and I'll gladly provide you with it.

Not so sure ambition makes you an ENTP...I think ego in the classic sense (i.e. "everybody look how good I am") isn't totally covered and classified well by MBTI...

Welcome to PerC! hmmm....I can't quite tell by your post which type you are, but you would probably enjoy lurking around the the ENTP and ENFP forums and see which one you relate to better. ;) Have fun! :)

I'm new here as well. I've taken the test about a dozen times now and always came up 50-50 in the last two categories. My teacher was baffled and insisted if I took it enough times I'd realize who I was LOL. But I leaned slightly more toward ENFP, and always related better to that group. I think some people just have very flexible personalities, and it might take them longer than others to get to know their true nature. Whatever you end up with when that happens, there is no wrong answer.
