Genetically, I have many chances to be fatter than I am, although my parents are fit cause they work about it. I go jogging every day (it leaves nice legs and stomach, believe me :), I dance in dance school twice a week. And about food- I am a hedonist, I really injoy in eating, but I am trying not to eat fast food ( I haven't eat it since September, I think) and have a cooked meal every day, it's more important than you think! I'm doing this for years and results are good. So, you don't have to be an asket to be fit. :)

XNXP gluttony relates to anything addictive, I think. Any endorphin rush, whether that's chocolate, social acclaim, sex or fitness.

When it comes to fitness I can sometimes be reluctant to bother starting, but once I get into it I tend to over-indulge, sometimes even hurt myself.

I've gone running at least 3 times a week for the past 7 years. Once I get into a habit, I stay in it. Lately I've taken up weight lifting 3 times a week. I keep records of all my workouts. I don't think it's unnatural for an NTP who develops their Si to do that.

My sister in law was fishing for ideas a few birthdays ago and she asked if I needed new clothes. After admitting I did she asked what size I was and I told her. There was sort of an awkward pause and she was like, are you sure? Do you like stretch pants? I responded that my 33 waist jeans fit just fine and to fuck off. Basically if I get to the point where I'm torturing my clothes I get moving again.
The winter is about over too and I'm on the market so I've got no excuse not to get back to a reasonable semblance of shape.

The worst is when you have an awesome routine going and then get sick for a week or two, or something happens and you get off "the program." Getting back on when you were trying to reach a long term goal is very difficult. You just have to keep the mentality that you can only do what you can do, and that it is not all going to happen immediately. I should think I'd know that by now being a big picture type, but not so much.

In fact, it's in the 60's today. Time to go for a jog.

If I exercise much I get so thin that it's pretty gross.

I eat take out constantly: whole large pizzas in one sitting, burritos and nachos, I ate an entire bag of chips yesterday (the big bag) and a sundae. McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts for breakfast are a bad habit of mine. And I still weigh the same thing I've weighed since I was 14.

You'd think this is a good thing, but it isn't, since I'm prehypertensive already. I'll probably die of a heart attack before I become overweight or have any outward signs of needing treatment for heart disease.

I crushed a whole pizza last night with ice cream and a bottle of wine. I was merely celebrating getting paid.
And hey, some of those sundaes are really good for you.

I smoke too many cigarettes, overindulge in booze, and stay up till the morning reading until my eyes get tired.

I think I need to start working out again. haha. When I did work out and lift weights, I was pretty obsessive about it like anything I pursue. Once you miss a day of working out, you start rationalizing that it's okay to miss another day and then another day. At least this is what happened to me.

Weird. Have you had your thyroid function checked? My wife has a friend who is like that and she's hyperthyroid.

If you do cardio, sure, but why not strength?

Yeah and they always tell me it's not bad enough to need medication...

Because I don't want to look like a body builder?
