    Relationships

As an INTP, different sites and people have recommended ENTJ, INTJ, ESTJ, even ENFJ to me as a life partner. I have yet to find decent relationship theory for MB, which is surprising considering how otherwise successful it is.

My current theory to create a compatible partner is this:
Retain the second and third trait, in my case NT.
Swap the first and last trait, in my case these become E and J.

Retained traits have similar percents, in my case low N and very high T.
Swapped traits subtract a hundred %. In my case a very high I becomes very low E, low P becomes high J.

    With this logic I get:
    ENTJ, with a low E, low N, very high T, high J.

That's the best I've got... This might work best for types closer to my type.

Good luck, I'm a ENTJ. Its really hard for me to relate with the world.

Well that's not a big deal on this forum then is it :P

Another of my interesting threads that I feel has been sadly neglected :(

The only thing I'm concerned about is the N. I have such a problem communicating with Ss. GAAA! They're all around me!

E might give me an adventure. That gives me ENTP, ENFP, ENFJ, ENTJ.

That is interesting, if you're saying that N is the most important attribute, it lines up with your dominant function. I would say T is the most important for me, which lines up with my own dominant function.

You may be on to something here, Zulban. If you decide to put together your own relationship model, you must let me see it.

The thought of relationships makes me run away screaming.

Interesting. However, do not plan on having any particular success in finding a perfect life partner composed of types and functions you think might be right for you now.

A perfect life-partner-relationship requires much more than just that. It also requires a form of mature understanding on your part as well, no matter what type he/she is. It might give you an idealistic idea though. Good luck.

With that said, being an NT, I can learn from and relate very well to S types, specifically ST types (vaguely uttered). Having a conversation with them teaches me so much, and expresses my ideas very well.
