Books you would like to read in the future

They say learning from books is just a narrow academic books, I say suck a lolly.

Post the titles of books here you are enthusiastic about, books that have given you lots and lots of insight, books that orgasmed your intuition, books that have learned you to be critical in a new way, books that you want to buy in the future because they seem interesting or maybe books you would like to read simply because they are resented. Well you know the drill.

Here are books I would love to read in the future:
    English Grammar For Dummies
    Quantum Enigma: Physics Encounters Consciousness
    Biology (medical book)
    Handbook of Clinical Health Psychology
    Engineering Mechanics
Learning the Arabic Language of the Quran
    European Human Rights Law
    Global politics
    The Elements of Moral Philosophy

    How about you?

    INTP - The Thinkers

I working on finishing out this list atm:

Your Picks: Top 100 Science-Fiction, Fantasy Books : NPR

Almost halfway there. I read The Stand, felt it over-rated, and I will skip the rest of the Gunslinger series after one of them.

I used to read fiction books every day when bored, or before sleeping as a ritual in high-school

Elementary school-> encyclopedae and medical books, I did it in secret though, because I did not want my parents to nag me about genitals. Or even worse, trying to explain it.

High-school-> I went to pretty much all fictional books in the library, developing unwanted poetic skills

University-> I still like reading, but the internet has pretty much replaced the urge to read books. Nowadays I just buy and read books to understand. Fiction books won't cut it anymore, I have the impression that they don't hold any kniwledge anymore.

I still haven't read Infinite Jest, and a million people have recommended it to me. I would like to finish reading Proust Swann's Way and all that, I just couldn't get into him the first time around.

    Also J.G. Ballard.

But I have to *study* for *classes*...
