I think the real problem is that we haven't seen enough of the man to really make judgements. The way he's manipulating and pulling strings in the shadows is not very INTP-esque to me either way. He also seems to somewhat share the more warped insanity trait exhibited by ENTPs gone wrong I think.

Szayel for instance and Dr. Stein from Soul Eater come to mind.

Also, I have to say that Urahara's belief in determinism doesn't seem to fit an INTP (at least not to me), since determinism essentially shuts down any possibility of open-endedness. I suppose you can be a hardcore determinist and an INTP, but at least if the Ne is strong you'd think they would reject the closeness of determinism. I know at least I do with exactly that reasoning. I don't like how determinism removes any ability for me to feel that I am an individual with a choice.

Since ENTPs N is internal I don't think they would have such issues though.
Well, since it's fiction and it's not a real personality, I guess we can never be sure.
Btw, ENTPs have Ne as their dominant.

I was certain their T was external, heh. Guess I remember it wrongly. I'm still new to MBTI although I've known it for years but only really investigating it now.

Maynard James Keenan, Tool/A Perfect Circle. (also appeared on the song of my username). I didn't read this whole thread so he might have been posted already. But he's a great musician and songwriter.

Omg he is? No wonder their songs are so sarcastic(?) and powerful.

Yeah, from what I've read. It makes sense now, doesn't it?

Surprised but not too surprised to see Karl Pilkington typed as an INTP. Let's just say I can follow his logic.
    These guys are hilarious...
