I actually enjoy physical interaction in relationships. Outside of that, I don't care much either way.

And my empathy only really applies to close friends, more so romantic partners. Honestly... I rarely feel empathy for my ESFJ sister, as bad as it sounds...
Do (or did) you ever feel that you sometimes had to shut down your empathy when dealing your ESFJ sister?

I don't know, I just can't relate to her on a single level. Her emotions are all irrational and over superficial issues. I only feel empathy when someone is being emotional over something... reasonable.

I guess I'm a lot more cold around her than other people... I just wish she'd... THINK!

I can relate to what you are saying. My mom was likely ESFJ and my sister is an SF of some kind, maybe ISFP. If I had known about MBTI when I was young and possibly while my mom was still living, perhaps I could have explained to them our differences. Maybe, maybe not.

It'll take some time with her. She's 2 year younger than me, (and I'm 14) so she's still quite immature and maybe things will change over time.

Yes, you are young. But do keep MBTI in mind when trying to relate to her and perhaps she can learn to understand you better learning about MBTI in the future. It was tragic in my family that we struggled to resolve our differences, but never really did.

Halp! I heard of a new Stars Wars movie out and I thought I might want to see it. One big problem. I went to another movie house where there was supposed to be a big deal drama. I wanted to examine things so I walked up to the big screen and saw nothing but flashing lights, hurt my eyes and some sound pretending a drama that wasn't there. I'm afraid the same thing will happen with this Star Wars thing: no war, no spaceships, no potential romance, new aliens or novel robots ... just a false flat screen with flashing lights. What is going on? Ever happen to you? Why are you and I so deceived?

Bonus points for including the sadly underrepresented concept of octobears.
