I don't really like MBTI Types

Title should read: "I don't like when people get carried away with MBTI Types." I do like the category definition that's been suggested though.

I don't like when people get carried away and 'typing' other people down to specific details or limiting their own behavior based on past choices (this will keep you immobilized).

I'm reading through this forum and I keep seeing 'WXYZ' type, and that type and this type does this very specific thing. It's too mechanical and makes me uncomfortable.

But it has helped me with my career focus based on the general categories.

I don't like tube socks. They look ridiculous and they are very uncomfortable if you have leg hair.

It seems that the OP doesn't have a good understanding of MBTI. It isn't as simple as introversion vs extroversion.

Plus, it helped him choose a career. Yes, that bad, bad MBTI!

But hey, whatever butters yer biscuit...

I don't like labels. There are exceptions to every rule.

MBTI has given me a greater understanding of the way I think and act. I see the test as more of a chance for personal insight and growth than a label.

    They're general categories, not labels.

Believe me when I say that I don't normally don't care what people think about me on the internet. You seem oddly similar.
