This has not been the first time, either. I'm very good at fooling people into thinking I'm an Fe-dom, apparently.

Yeah. I put on various MBTI "costumes" for different social occasions, and generally do a very good job of blending in.
At interviews, I do my best impression of an ESTJ.
At work (customer service) and at social events with people I don't know well, I'm an ENFJ.
Is this a rhetorical question?
Funny you mention this, in a little while I have an interview with these two guys named Bob. Hopefully I can convince them that I'm good with dealing with people. Personally think I have good people skills. My job involves taking design specs from customers (actually it's typically my secretary that does this, or their faxed) and then I take them to the engineers to be put into production. The engineers I work with aren't that good at dealing with customers, but I can always determine what they're looking for and deal with them in the right way.
Everybody who has talked to me knows that I don't, lol.
I get comments in school on how polite I am from teachers; then again, I'm only very polite if they have a formal air to them. As for people skills, I got comments on my report card about setting good examples for other students and helping them. If I'm being patient with the troubled kid, it's more out of detached fascination than a desire to help.![]()
Well, that's what it says on my resume.....
Seriously, working jobs where I have to interact with the public has greatly increased my people skills and (the closely-related) small talk skills. At this point, I can feign interest and take care of my half of the "conversation" without actually having to think about what I'm saying!

Yeah, I've been told that before. And I usually just snicker at it and people usually take that snickering as a friendly thank you.I think I come across as either an ISTJ or ESTJ. A few select people actually probably think I'm an INTP, just not in those words.
