Do you get irritated when people ask you too many questions?

I've noticed that something I find very irritating is when people ask me too many questions. Like why have they assigned me with the duty of satisfying their every curiosity? I never outwardly express my annoyance because I don't want to be offensive, but I sometimes get the urge to shout that I wish to be left alone!

Yes, people DO ask too many questions. It's driving me insane! And if you try to ignore them, they just get angry at you..

It depends on the questions. If they're soliciting advice or knowledge about one of my preferred topics, generally I love to answer these kinds of questions.

If it's, "Are you okay? Are you sure? Are you sure? Are you SURE? What do you think of me? Are you sure you're okay?" then no. "No. No, man. Shit, no, man. I believe you'd get your ass kicked sayin' something like that, man."

Yeah, it does depend on the type of questions I'm asked. The ones that get under my skin are like: "Where is so and so? Why did so and so go there? What time is it? Did you eat any lunch? What is the weather forecast for tomorrow? Are you okay?"

"How do you feel about this and that?" is also a very annoying question, that has no ending once they get started..

Not really. If they are objective questions, it doesn't bother me. If they are questions to learn about ME, I become very very uncomfortable and suspicious and change the subject. I tend to lose trust in someone who asks me too many questions about myself.

If it is someone that I already trust, I don't get as suspicious, but it still makes me uncomfortable.

Yeah, it definitely depends on the questions. You don't want to be answering the same question worded five different ways. Being asked for completely irrelevant details is irritating too. The NP reputation for being spacey comes in handy because you can just say that you weren't paying attention and can't remember.

I was thinking about this yesterday actually. Yes, it does irritate me. A lot. The ones that really set me off are questions about why I'm doing something, etc. I HATE being asked why. It just takes way too much effort to explain myself most of the time, and the person asking the questions probably wouldn't understand the reasons anyway. Then, there's also the instances of people questioning me just to debate or argue with my answer. It happens all the time, and I won't even comment on it any further.

"Disposable" and irrelevant small talk questions are rough to deal with sometimes too. Why is silence no longer an option?

People only ask me relevant questions, thank god. I think stories of the few "famous" moments after someone asks me too many questions have circulated among everyone in my school.

I'm usually not paying attention and hardly ever know the answers to the questions I can't stand the most, but most people are sensors and will shoot me dirty looks if I tell them I wasn't paying attention.

I also can't stand being asked why! And it irritates me to no end when people ask me questions just to ridicule my answers!
