Does anyone else daydream in bed before they go to sleep? I've done this since I was a kid and it helps me get to sleep. Usually I like to make up movies in my head.

I've done it as long as I can remember. It beats counting sheep.

Yes, I write visually in my head each night taking place in different landscapes, scenarios, ect. It's mostly free-style brainstorming, and if I think of something particularly novel or something I would like to elaborate later in my writing, I have a notebook next to my bed for that. I usually do this for an hour before I fall asleep. It's a time of relaxation, and it sure beats reading fiction as it is I who am creating the worlds actively.![]()
Well, I'm in my thoughts and/or daydreaming whenever I'm not actually doing anything requiring concentration...so...yeah.
Yup.Though much more recently. I've had trouble with sleep ever since I was a lot younger (probably a common problem amongst INTP's?) but I do daydream in bed to help me with falling asleep. Mostly about future/potential situations, sometimes involving a love interest. I generally don't fantasise about things/events which aren't going to happen.
I know I'm not INTP, but I've aaaaalways done this. I can't get to sleep at night without daydreaming. During one period, I used to read books or watch movies and make up fanfiction in my head as I went to sleep, heehee. Nowadays I play out scenarios of my personal future with real people in my life, though they're still a little far-fetched (such as all of my current friends still living in the same town ten years from now).
I <3 daydreaming in bed.
I daydream in bed too...before I go to sleep and after I wake up. I even give myself an extra 15 min after my alarm goes off just to do so. It depends on my mood what they're about, but it's usually something involving magic and dragons or something. ^_^ I've done it for as long as I can remember...only I don't wrap myself up in the covers to simulate being in the talons of the vicious dragon anymore...usually. >.>
doesn´t everyone? like what do you else do?
many times i try to go to sleep faster by dreaming about relaxing and dozing off under a tree in the shire, or some other fantasy world.
When my head hits the pillow, at night ... I - am - out. I am very thankful for that.
