As a pokemon nerd I was bearing my PokeWalker today without any pokemon on it. But at some point a random Ratata decided it wanted to join me and so it did. A pokemon just joined my walk as I was passing by.. This makes me feel wanted or accepted by someone. It feels nice. And it's a pokemon, it's just a fragment of information on my PokeWalker, now on my DS so it doesn't expect anything of me, but, nevertheless, it liked me...No engagements.
I can't describe my feelings, as you can see.. I just had a need to share my happiness with someone, though I'm not sure if you know what a PokeWalker is and how it works...
Feel free to tell your unconventional heart warming stories, doesn't have to include pokemon, just something peculiar.
(my perspective on Ratatas has changed <3 )

When your dog looks at you, mouth hanging open in a smile, eyes shining with adoration... for you.

when the cat (not mine) decided to sleep on my bed.

(I don't live in the same house as that cat anymore though. )

Hopefully you'll find another cat or a surrogate to it one day, pie.

Another thing I remember.. I once was in a shopping center and a child passed by and he/she accidentally slightly pushed something on sale, slightly tilted it, and then went back to it to position it back as it was before the interruption.
A warm needle twinged my chest and made it shiver, made me feel so helpless..

Our eldest dog when she senses I'm upset or sick will come and lay in my room. The other dogs will do this for attention at random points, but she comes ONLY to my room when I am in desperate need of a friend or a caretaker. I have grown an attachment for when she does it that I easily just pat the bed and allow her to jump up and join me when I'm trying to sleep or when I'm crying my eyes out.

She used to sleep in my room all the time when she was allowed to roam the house... we were late night buddies when i was a child. Sorry for going on, memories. :')

Standing in the same spot on a hill top, and watching the sun set in two different locations for the summer and winter. It's witnessing the earth tilt, and it's far better than TV.

When I began attending a small private school at ten years old, I was only about two weeks in and I hadn't made any friends. All of the other students were wealthy and did not seem interested in talking to me at all. It was recess and there was a very large recreational area outside. One child had pushed me down during tetherball, and I wandered, muddy and alone, over to the opposite end of the schoolyard and sat down by a tree. A little robin hopped really close, and then flew up a foot or two and landed right on my hand.

As a child I thought animals had kinder spirits than people, so it meant a lot to me at the time that the fauna was on my side. I felt like Snow White right after she was kicked out of the castle. :)

Always takes me back to younger days and to the time I broke my wrist. Not fun, but good memory none-the-less. I like to swing at night more than anything though, each time I go up in a forward direction, I see the stars get closer

    100 proof Kentucky Bourbon.

Ok on a more serious note, the first time I held my newborn daughter was a feeling unlikely to be duplicated in my lifetime.
