Eh, i would like to go around 35. Past that age it just seems tedious to continue living. So i have 12 years to engage in debauchery.
Why the stoic and defeatist attitude on death? I, for one, will try to live for as long as I can.
Live forever or die trying!!
As long as there are no obligations post death, I think I'll be fine.
*sigh*
I'm interested in seeing what changes the future will bring, e.g. technology, politics, discoveries.
But I also don't want to live long enough to see my loved ones die before me.
So in conclusion, I hope that they invent/discover an Elixir of Life.
I don't really fear my own death. The thought of it all ending offers a strange sense of relief.
Dying alone is not a factor I'm worried about...and I think it'd be pretty nice, especially on a peaceful mountain top...in my sleep...after a fulfilling hike.
I would rather die alone than with some really annoying person...particularly if I were dying of, say, cancer and they kept asking me how I felt every day.
