For music, I recommend anything with strange or new sounds (electric is always interesting) and lyrics hard to decipher. And animated music videos. One band with this is the Gorrilaz. Especially their newer songs.

Tell me what you guys think about that group.

Pan's Labyrinth - A conflicted girl, then fantasy comes to life, and she has to make certain sacrifices.

The Crazies - Government infects people to instabilize the population, a few survivors with a twist at the end..

I can't say I follow any particular type of band, just genres. Classical, 80's retro, and any song that is catchy comes to mind. My musical preference also depends on my mood, and if the song can relate to what's surfacing on my mind.

As for movies, I enjoy complicated plots that make you think hours after the movie is over. On the TV, all INTP's should be diggin' Star Trek!
