My "thinking" function is seriously shrinking!

    I got 54% thinking and 46% feeling...HELP! I'm sinking! Don't let the demons take me! I don't wanna be a wet blanket!

"INFPs never seem to lose their sense of wonder. One might say they see life through rose-colored glasses. It's as though they live at the edge of a looking-glass world where mundane objects come to life, where flora and fauna take on near-human qualities. INFP children often exhibit this in a 'Calvin and Hobbes' fashion, switching from reality to fantasy and back again. With few exceptions, it is the NF child who readily develops imaginary playmates (as with Anne of Green Gables's "bookcase girlfriend"--her own reflection) and whose stuffed animals come to life like the Velveteen Rabbit and the Skin Horse"

    that's totally me..

well truth is I am extremely emotional..some test I took recently had me 20% more emotional than the average man AND woman..but I don't find it easy to express it at all...maybe it's just my manic-depression acting out, again?

You know, they say you're actually not supposed to take the MBTI more than once. I'm totally guilty of breaking that rule (as are many here, I'm sure), but it could be that you're compromising the accuracy of the test by taking it again and again.

How do you make decisions: With logic or with your emotions? Can you easily empathize and sympathize with people? Which do you value more: Interpersonal harmony or the quest for truth?

the thing is I took it over and over again, and it always turned out INTP, just that one site gave percentages for how much you matched each personality type, and INTJ, ISTP and INFP came close to my high INTP percentage, and the thing is I've been so abnormally emotional all my life..if it's chemically-based then I would feel less guilty about it, but also more fucked up..cause if I start with manic-depressive at 20, I'll be a full-blown schizo by 30. IF I make it to that age.

And yes, I do value objective knowledge, and I want TRUTH-capital "T", above all else, but then I also dream of harmony and love and stuff..I guess I'm a cheesy INTP.

I took it again recently. I was feeling seriously withdrawn for whatever reason. I came up INTJ. I'm slightly expressed extrovert, but I am no INTJ.

It was probably just your mood. After all, it is a long road from INTJ to INFP.

I feel the strange, awkward and rare desire to hug a stranger.

Indeed, F stands for fantastic friendly feelers.

    Okay, it's passing.

And how does that make sense? The MBTI is not nearly that accurate. I find it impossible for an INTP to accept a one-time test result to determine their type.
