once after I gave blood they made me stay longer because I 'looked sick,' but i was feeling fine and just being myself

I was pretty "flat/unreadable" when I was younger -- I either would be laughing because I was being goofy (if around the right people) or was completely flat and monotone.

Nowadays I am pretty animated and enjoy it, sometimes it wigs me out to hear inflection in my voice... but it still does tired me. It's like burning through battery surplus power to keep that connection open between mind and body.

Nah, that's me. I was mad because they were forcing me to take pictures and I knew it'd piss off my mom if I looked apathetic.

I smiled all the time when I was a kid, now I just have a ":/" face most the time.
