Or are we rarer than unicorns?
I'm definitely somewhat gay, but it's been a source of confusion for a while. I have a feeling a lot of INTPs get confused about their sexualit,y because they second-guess themselves so much and can see the positives/negatives of different situations. I don't personally know any gay INTPs, or at least I don't think I do. No clue if we're "less gay" than other types, but I'd wager we'd have a fair number of bisexuals, since it's a pretty logical way to go.![]()
Thanks for your reply!
I think INTPs probably have as many gay & bi people as any other type, though we might be more likely to be "out", as we're generally a pretty open-minded bunch.![]()
where's kevinaswell? he's around here somewhere...
I am a Bisexual INTP.
Like it has been said in posts above, I do not believe that INTPs are any less likely or more likely to be gay/bi. I really believe sexuality has little to do with type. However, one could argue that being public about it would.
well, i believe sexuality is a continuum... i did once have a serious lesbian girlfriend (albeit briefly--i.e., months, not years), if that counts. and the real kind, not the college-dorm-room-experiment / girls-gone-wild variety. but she was an exceptional case.

What am I doing posting in this thread?!

I'm not gay, but bi, I guess, I just really don’t see the big deal. I find men, and women attractive so I don’t really think about it when dating, it’s more of (I like this “Person” not this boy or that girl), and where things go is not dependent on gender but compatibility as to human beings. The only difference I can think of it that I prefer sex with men and so I don’t pursue women actively. I kind of just think, go with the flow.![]()
