I think I'll give this a shot...

You know you're an INTP when a person asks you after you did well on an exam...

Person: So, how did you study to get such a high grade?

You: Well, I don't know...I read the book I guess.

Person: ....yeah, I did that too, but how did you study?

Then you realize that in order to explain how you study, you have to say piece by piece how your thought processes work, which you will probably not do because it is a waste of time, and you want to do something else.

you only have 2 hours to finish an elaborate assignment before it's due, and you have no idea how you're going to finish it. you go online to do some research, but find yourself distracted by THIS REALLY AWESOME ARTICLE ABOUT REALLY COOL STUFF. in there you lose an hour, and in the remaining hour, you go back to your assignment, realize how you can bullshit it because you'd read about this particular topic before in one of your many cyberspace-inquisition trips, and found a way to connect it.
you proceed, turn it it, and get a near-A or an A-.

in other words, how i passed the majority of my liberal arts courses. >:D

I don't know if this is common in INTP's like myself, but I always carry my stuff, seriously, I rarely use lockers but when I do it's ussually one with a broken lock. I mostly don't use a working one because the combination doesn't interest me enough to remeber it. And even then I still like keeping my stuff close to me, and INTP's are known for thier love of nostalgic things, and I ussually always keep my old completed assignments with me despite it being over a month done. I guess it's also like a small rebellion since I never liked the locker system in general.

Technically Ambiverted, but feeling more introverted than extroverted.

I do the exact same thing. All through out 6th and 7th grade I would carry around a giant duffle bag with all my books and random junk in it. I was told on multiple occasions that I should put my stuff in my locker and my response was "I don't remember my combination" because I didn't. I can't tell you how many times I actually had to ask my teacher for my locker combination.

I can't actually say I love nostalgic things, but I can guarantee that I have old assignments just laying around someplace. I'm not the most organized of people....

I remember the other day (meaning a month or two ago... I forget) I found a old story I wrote in the first grade about three ninja's who were given special powers: Power, Knowledge, and Wisdom. It stated that all three could not function without each other, but when combined Wisdom shined the brightest.

I have a lot of nostalgic stuff lying around aswell, as a reminder to what I've done in the past. I didn't really carry everything with me though, too much trouble when there's a perfectly good locker around (we used keys instead of combinations).

you know you are an INTP when you take a test, it tells you you are an INTP, you begin researching everything about INTPs, then about every other jungian typology, then question your own INTP-ness, then realize it is a completely accurate assessment, but refuse to stop looking up things about typologies and anything remotely related. (this entire time you stopped everything else you had been doing).

Also, when you are fully conscious of the fact that you are not all the way there emotionally, and are happy about it because it gives you the power to be objective in all things. (except when something really powerful happens in your life and then you are unable to control your emotions because you aren't used to them)
