Time Well Spent

How much time do you spend every day on this forum? Only time spent actively counts: reading, writing or playing or whatever.

Do you feel it is time well spent or do you wish you had worked on something else

I know, I like polls ok?

I spend probably an hour or two a day, when I do log on. So on average an hour a day.

I come and go as free time presents itself so it may or may not add up to quite a bit on any given day. Regardless, it seems to be well spent here for me.

As trope I come on whenever I'm bored, and as Lance has said "You're always on" or "Do you sleep?".

So, I'm not the only 5+ PC junkie. On work days, I get on the computer as soon as I get off and I stay on until about three in the morning. Then I attempt to get just enough sleep that I don't drop from exhaustion the next day. On non-work days, I spend about the same amount of time online, only instead of getting up early for work, I sleep in, then spend part of my day either going for long walks/jogs/runs either in town or on the beach, or if the weather is bad, practicing my dancing, writing music, doing art, reading, or doing something else I enjoy. Sometimes when I feel tired or non-social, I will lock myself in my room for a couple of days, and when I do that, I spend all day online.

I work alone in a kiosk all day long. As soon as I get here, I plug in and get online. I am online all day, doing homework, studying and hanging out here between customers (there are some stretches of 2-3 hours where I see nobody...) so the computer is on essentially all day. Once I leave here, I go get my son and once we get home, I plug in again. After he goes back to his Dad I'm online again to finish up homework and hang here or FB until I go to bed...

All of this will change once I move, though. I have no social life here. It's all at home in MD...

I stop in here between classes, but only ever stay on for about an hour or 2 a day if I were to total it up I'd wager.

Omg, I spend about 11 hours a day here, yesterday I didn't go to sleep till about 7.30 in the morning because I was on this forum and many other sites, so I would have spent about 18 hours on here till I drifted of to Sleepy Land at abwt 7.30.

It's now exactly 2 in thee morning, I wonder how much longer I'll be here...

The time spent varies. Usually, it's in the 2-5 hour range, although that can be distributed throughout the day. Some day's it's well spent, others it's time that I should be devoting to other things (I'm working on that).

The time I spend here is probably more than 5 hours a day, since I am on my iphone to check up whats happening in the forums. I don't feel like I have wasted time because I hang out with my friends here and in the real world. However, like others, I go here in between my free time.

I would say, spread over the course of a day, up to 2 hours spent on this forum in some way.
