What I actually wear is quite generic, jeans every day (I like moderate acid washes) and t-shirts or sometimes a long-sleeved shirt. The only things that I can think that are even vaguely unique are that I have a beastly (fake) leather jacket, and I wear a belt and dress socks every day (which for some reason makes me feel so much more refined).

If I were older/had more money/went shopping more than 2-3 times a year, I'd probably still wear jeans, but would trade the t-shirts for some stylin button-downs, plus I'd get a trench coat, I love trench coats (to be clear, a classy one, not a beat-up flasher-style one, the little built-in belts they have are the best too). I'd also have a nice suit, I really like dressing up even though I have approximately 0 reasons to do so.

Also, on a more flamboyant note, am I alone in thinking this looks totally sexy?

Curiously, starshipuk, misstheground and 3 others thanked this post.

Thrift stores are your friend, man. You'd be surprised at how much good stuff you can find in those places.

And no, you are not alone. :B

I always wear jeans. I usually wear t-shirts but every few days I'll wear a polo or button up shirt.

    Every Day's Casual Friday...!

Heh... If I get to wear what I want, I'll more than likely be found in jeans an a sweatshirt, or sweatpants and a t-shirt and, of course, a baggy jacket. I used to take my brother's old zip-up jackets when I was younger. Now he keeps an eye out for me so I have to go buy them oversized in stores when I see them.

I almost always look like the kid who just doesn't care.
Except for when I try really hard. Then I'm the kid who wasn't there yesterday and won't be there tomorrow because I'll go all out.
I'm not a fan of make-up though... I mean, I'm not against wearing it (in moderation, and possibly only foundation) but I just don't have the patience for it... or for contacts, either.

Is that Colin Firth as Mr. Darcy? If it's not, my apologies.
Either way, I second that 'hubba hubba' ^_^

    It is indeed.

I think I ought to be clear though that I used the picture merely as an example of clothing that I think I would look rather dashing in myself. While Colin Firth is undoubtedly an attractive man, I just want to emphasize that it was his clothing that I was calling 'sexy' not the man himself.

Polos and gym shorts for the longest time. The idea was comfortable shorts to play sports in then head over to Olive Garden... I guess. I never gave it much thought other than it felt comfortable.

Now, I wear dress pants and dress shirt. Simple but mature look. I like not looking like a complete man-child yet still comfortable.

I just splurged and bought myself this cardigan. It's a nice mix of subtlety and nerdy jokes.
