I've learned about the love languages a long time ago.
It raises awareness to being more attentive about your partner in my opinion - which is really great.

Anyway: I have never known anyone who didn't have "gifts" listed as the least important or second to last.
Nor did I see anyone posting results who put "gifts" any higher.

Are there people out there who appreciate gifts that much? Or at least more?

Both of my exes were into gifts; one I'd rate with gifts as the top LL, the other as the second LL. I never understood it; if I want something, I'll buy it myself, or save for it until I can. But a well-timed/selected gift would drive both of them wild.

Yes, there are. I know some who would put gifts in the first place.

I'm not one of them though.

...Well, I'm kinda glad I'm not very aware of such people, or am not close enough that I would have to know this about them, because otherwise whatever communication of affection there was would be very limited. And very forced.
