I was somewhat athletic in my early teens but lost interest. Nowadays I go on the occasional walk or bike ride but that's really about it.

I've just started regularly exercising for the first time in years. Don't really feel any different so far but I'm trying to stick with it

Unfortunately, I'm a complete slob and lazy bastard, so I kind of conform to the whole nonathletic INTP stereotype.

^ It's definitely a struggle for us to get out, I think. One of our biggest weaknesses is sloth.

Yep, overcoming inertia is a bitch. But do I have to admit that I do feel really good after a good session at the gym from time to time. It helps me break out of my perpetual cycle of apathy and laziness.

I workout 4 times a week right now.
Worked out 3 times a week for about the last 8 months.
Sometimes I'll only go once or twice but its pretty rare these days.

Diet is sometimes indulgent but I mainly think of it as fuel not for indulgence.

I'm a boxer so naturally I have to run everyday, as soon as I wake up in the morning I do 100 push ups and 100 sit ups, then after that 2 hours of rigorous exercise, rest for 1 then off to the gym for more training.

I love the gym, I go to a few classes or just do a regular workout. I go on my own I prefer it. It gives me time to think and clear my mind. I love swimming by myself too.

I am pretty skinny and have not worked out many months leading me to believe that I have a high BMR. On a side note, the human brain consumes roughly 20% of the body's energy. The INTP "skinny nerdy body-type" stereotype may have some actual validity as INTP brain's are likely more active in brain usage then other types leading to marginally increased energy (calorie) consumption.

Eating with health in mind is important. Exercise is for fun, like riding a bike. None of that stare at a wall and lift a dumbbell crap.
