You are forever changing, forever learning, forever calculating, forever seeking and thirsting for your seductive and fickle knowledge. You are precise in your uncertainty. You are factual and hard in the most gentle way. You are as true as you can possibly be in your current step of development. To those on the outside, you may be serious and unfeeling. But let me get you alone and see. You will be silly, so beautiful and silly. You will be intense and strikingly passionate about all that you hold high. The few people that have somehow gained access into your world is an up most priority, but you are undervalued in the realms of emotion. Yet you are so very emotional in all the right ways. Your heart holds few, but the love inside is endless. You are one of the best. For no one can feel quite like you, because no one can feel quit so logically. Thank you for existing.

I just had a really tough day, which involved a lot of me hating the way my INTP mind always has to be objective, even when it comes at my loss... I needed that. Thank you, @Leora. Really.

    :)

Me and my INTP drove from SC to FL and talked about perspective vs reality of colors and came to a conclusion after nearly 2.5 hours. Not many people can talk about stuff that "meaningless" for that long without getting bored/irritated. We are enough alike to understand one another, but different enough to keep things interesting. And an INTP is great for guiding an INFP out of an emotion frenzy. I feel much more in control of myself than I did before my relationship with an INTP. It is just a great combo for understanding and growth
    That's interesting. :)

Also, I feel like my INFP friend(s) are more inward about their emotions, and so they generally calm me down when I'm anxious or stressed or w/e.

Also, being a feeler does not mean you are less capable of intellectual interrogation and whatnot than a thinking type. My INFP buddy is one of the smartest people I've met. It took me a year to catch up to him. Now we can spin wonderful webs of thought and squeeze insights and meanings from things like nobody's business. Really, he's so sharp and articulate. I think INTPs are often more into being "technical", but intelligence is intelligence. The execution/manipulation of that intelligence is the only thing related to personality type, it seems. I could be wrong, though.

Now I have to go actively seek someone who's INFP to be my soul mate.

    Some day.

I definitely agree that people can be intelligent whether they are an F or T. I know a lot of very academically successful Fs and many that are smarter than a lot of Ts I know. I am mostly referring to the type of conversation rather than intelligence. I guess when I said that INFPs spend a lot of time thinking, implied that other Fs dont. Lol. Not my intention. But INFPs tend to "go out there" a little further on topics that others tend to find boring or unimportant. At least that is how it has been with my experiences. My two best friends are both Fs and they can't stand it when I get off on a tangent. Lol. Eye's start rolling all over the place.

Indeed. This sounds like a function of Ne.

Extraverted intuition loves to penetrate the abstract with analysis, speculation, and general inquiries.

Thank-you so much, you lovely person, you...
I work with an infp chick. I'm not closew to her on a super personal level, mostly because we met each other at work and never really see each other outside of the workplace, but I love her to pieces. She lifts my mood just by being there. I don't think she knows that though. ^^ We always agree on so many things and are super relaxed with each other, and easy for us to find things to laugh at. I hate my job, but it's always a little more bearable with her there because she usually feels the same way as I do and we understand each other. Sometimes, I feel a little protective of her, especially when she's having an off day emotionally. You infp's are very accepting, intelligent and tender people with a gentle flair for life. I wish I knew more of you guys! ^^
