Oh right, we hind from them.. :/
Hahaha, this true. I fell in love with an INTP in 9th grade, he was so smart and so mysterious and intriguing. I just knew that he was different under his front and I knew that he would be perfect for me if he would just open up and let me in. IT TOOK TWO YEARS!!

But totally worth it. We have been together now for 4 years and just got married in May. It's so awesome because I am an INFP, so I have helped him grow socially (not that I am a butterfly or anything) and he has helped me rein in on my emotions, and now that all that is out of the way, we can spend all our time talking about theories and weird science *sigh*

    Great story!
I like INFPs a lot, I've often clicked quickly with them

But when I was young, I totally blew a date with one. She was dropping hints like crazy that she want me to ask. I saw the hints but somehow convinced myself that I was imagining thing.

Boy was she angry at me the next day!!

The few people that have somehow gained access into your world is an up most priority, but you are undervalued in the realms of emotion. Yet you are so very emotional in all the right ways. Your heart holds few, but the love inside is endless. You are one of the best. For no one can feel quite like you, because no one can feel quit so logically. Thank you for existing.

Why do INFPs write us love letters?

    And we have thread:

"Dear INTP" - Write a Letter to an INTP

Haha, doesn't surprise me, we INFPs are very "NOW!" people. On the rare occasions that we know what we want, we don't want to wait very long for it. Those two years were horrible for me, I had insomnia the entire time. I had no idea that it had anything to do with him until we started dating and I immediately started sleeping like a baby. Lol.

Although I do feel sorry for INTPs that more people do not take the time to get to know them, I feel even more sorry for the ones that do not take the time. I never even knew people like you guys existed until I met my husband. It is a relief to me, a nice big breath of fresh air from the emotional whirlwind that comes from most other people.

    I appreciate your thread.

My best friend is an INFP. And then I have two other friends who are INTP-INFP roommates. It seems this pairing is often quite successful.

Indeed, no one is as gentle with and accepting of me like my INFP buddy.

Thank you again for your kind message.

It does seem to be a very compatible match. I think it is because even though INFPs are feelers, we are also highly imaginative and spend a lot of time thinking and contemplating, this gives us the ability to stay right along with INTPs in conversations. Me and my INTP drove from SC to FL and talked about perspective vs reality of colors and came to a conclusion after nearly 2.5 hours. Not many people can talk about stuff that "meaningless" for that long without getting bored/irritated. We are enough alike to understand one another, but different enough to keep things interesting. And an INTP is great for guiding an INFP out of an emotion frenzy. I feel much more in control of myself than I did before my relationship with an INTP. It is just a great combo for understanding and growth
