If I have an attractive girlfriend, it wouldn't bother me to the point of wishing she was less beautiful. A seemingly flawless featured women can be intimidating to some men, perhaps the purpose is insecurity or feeling unworthy... If she has a strong intellectual and philosophical nature to her, that exceeds her physical beauty, and in my eyes, amplifies her physical attractiveness.

Lol this woman doesn't exist in America.

    Maybe even on Earth.

She does, you just need to find her..

Perhaps you've come across her before.. You never really know who she is until you open up her mind. I can assure you, there are plenty of gorgeous women whose complexity of mind is just as amazing and beautiful as their bodies.

Meh, I've stopped thinking about how attractive my crushes are, since no matter how good they objectively look, I'd still think they're more attractive than I am. Simply a consequence of low self-confidence and extreme self-doubt. But hey, since I stopped caring about this kind of things, I can even muster up the courage to spill the beans... only to crash and burn so far, though. Doesn't matter, at least I feel proud of myself for giving it a shot. Then I get into a "what-the-hell-was-I-thinking-mode".

If someone's very attractive, you might be able to discern that they interact with society in a certain set of ways. So then you can adapt to that. I say fuck settling for what could be better (malignant perfectionism in me), the only reason not to is that really hot people can be bitches.

There's a girl who sits behind me in Spanish class. I think I may love her. She doesn't know. I like her blue eyes and procrastinating ways and laid-back nature. Whenever I see her, I always contemplate asking her out for a cup of coffee. Do people still do that? I really just want to tell her that she is beautiful. But then she'd get the pepper spray. If she says no, then I will have to see her next semester, but if she says yes, then maybe we can go out. But if she says yes and we then stop seeing each other later, I will still have to see her. I think I am overthinking this situation.

    No.
The only time when I've felt insecure about appearances is when he had a girlfriend who was much skinnier than me who dressed nicely all the time.
    That's it.

Plus I would just be awkward anyways.

No. But I've wondered how. Some people are unbelievably beautiful.

    Yes, of course

    No, she won't.

So what? Saying no once doesn't mean she makes you sign a restraining order and that her feelings about you are carved in stone. And even if that DID actually happen in reality, you could just ignore her.

Whatever happens, happens. The first step is just at least getting to know her a little bit, and getting her comfortable knowing you a little bit. There's no pressure for anything to happen past that, you even said she seems to have a laid back nature. If you have similar personalities, you might get along. If you don't even try, not only will you never see her again, you won't gain experience.

Sorry, I just used to be like you where I'd imagine all these wild outcomes, as if one tiny thing I did was the difference between marrying a chick and having her friends throw rocks through my windows.

(The worst that could realistically happen is a little bit of embarrassment, pain comparable to dipping a foot in a freezing lake)
