Take this test: Can You Relate?

@OcarinaOfTime , thank you for sharing that quiz. The results were very spot on for me!

I am wondering now the extent to which we INTJs will be able to relate to one another. The ENFPs results were all over the place. What about INTJs? PersonalDNA | Your True Self Revealed - Fast Fun Free Personality Tests

    Here are my results:

    Cautious Idealist:
As an IDEALIST, you are distinctive for your integration of confidence, imagination, willingness to explore, and desire for competence over style.
You have a strong capacity to comprehend the inner workings of things, finding new ideas and innovative insights to feed your curious nature.
You are quite comfortable in the realm of abstract thought. You don't need a practical solution to every one of life's questions.
You are comfortable with the decisions you make in life. You don't need to second-guess yourself, or seek a lot of opinions before you make up your mind.
You enjoy the routines that you have created in your life, and don't feel the need to shake things up just for the sake of change.
You generally succeed at what you do, and others would describe you as successful.
It is important to you that products be efficient – looking good has to come second to working well.
You aren't the kind of person who needs to collect stylish items in an attempt to create an attractive environment – you know that what matters most is function, not style.
Your independent streak and masculine nature allow you to make decisions efficiently and to trust your instincts
You approach problems in an analytical way, not getting caught up in your own emotions. You are an independent thinker, not wedded to the preferences of others.
You much prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute. Your decisions are well thought out, and you're not the least bit impulsive.
You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.
Generally, you believe that you control your life, and that external forces only play a limited role in determining what happens to you.

    Yep, sounds about right.

My glossary of traits amused me:

    Confidence: 90%
    Openness: 0% (that's encouraging).
    Extroversion: 24%
    Empathy: 2%
    Trust in others: 2%
    Agency: 90%
    Masculinity: 100%
    Femininity: 0% (And I always thought I was androgynous...oops).
    Spontaneity: 2%
    Attention to style: 40%
    Authoritarianism: 78%
    Earthy/Imaginative: 48%
    Aesthetic/Functional: Functional (4%)

Take the test and post your results.
    Undoubtedly thanked this post.

I'm not going to bother posting the results of my test. It described me as a respectful person which is so far off the mark it's actually laughable. The traits glossary wasn't very accurate, either. The only thing I'd say it actually got right was my low extroversion rating and perhaps a high attention to style. Massive masculinity? Relatively high trust in others? Bleh.

I found the methods of answering the questions to be really quite bizarre. It's easy to see where they could have gone wrong with this, the opportunities were everywhere.

    My results:
    You are a Reserved Experiencer.

    personalDNA
    about you

    You are an Experiencer

Your inquisitive nature, imagination, and hands-on practicality make you an EXPERIENCER.
Although you have an active imagination, you also concern yourself with the functional elements of things.
You are willing to experiment to find things that work the most efficiently.
Getting stuck in certain habits is boring to you—you'd rather find new experiences.
Accordingly, experiences are more important to you than objects—you'd rather spend your money and energy on events and adventures than on material things.
You like to contemplate a lot of options before making a decision, and you're willing and able to consider a lot of different angles to problems.
You're open to suggestions, and often rely on others to assess the merit of those suggestions.
You have an ability to see the big picture—not just how things are, but how they could be—in a variety of situations.
You are balanced in your approach to problem-solving, not letting your emotions hold you up.
You much prefer to have time to plan for things, feeling better with a schedule than with keeping plans up in the air until the last minute. Your decisions are well thought out, and you're not the least bit impulsive.
You do your own thing when it comes to clothing, guided more by practical concerns than by other people's notions of style.

I don't think these results reflect me very well. I'm anything BUT 'open'. Don't have a clue how that turned out to be my highest trait. EDIT: Ah, just realised it probably means 'open to ideas' or 'open to change' or 'open to suggestion' rather than friendly/warm/open with emotions.

Yes, I was going to say but I see you already noticed lol.

    I got Cautious Leader.

    Glossary traits:
    Confidence: 92%
    Openness: 38%
    Extroversion: 16%
    Empathy: 0%
    Trust in others: 9%
    Agency: 88%
    Masculinity: 100%
    Femininity: 0%
    Spontaneity: 17%
    Attention to style: 24%
    Authoritarianism: 65%
    Earthy/Imaginative: 76% (earthy being down-to-Earth, I'd assume?)
    Aesthetic/Functional: Functional 2%

Seems quite applicable to me; I tend to get 'leader' as a defining personality trait in most things I take, and I'm certainly cautious with people. Only thing I don't like is the masculine and feminine thing, but I guess it would depend on how they define the two traits.

Bear in mind that being masculine does not make you "manly" and being feminine does not make you "girly". No where near. Masculinity and femininity have nothing to do with sex or gender. To be masculine is to be assertive, dominant, intellectual (as opposed to emotional); in essence, you a decision-maker, and executor of sorts, relying on your own instincts. Femininity relates to the tendency to place others ahead of yourself and compromise your own needs for the sake of others, to give care to others, to engage in social support (as well as to receive it), to be able to rely on others to make decisions for you. It means being less assertive, more flexible and submissive. A combination of the two is known as androgyny. One does not necessarily have to be one or the other; they exist on either end of a continuum.

Oh, I know all that. It's not the words I disliked, but the score I got on them.

The only thing I disagree with on mine, is their quantification on what is feminine and masculine.
