NFs are concerned with the emotional well-being of themselves and others, and this most often translates into the way we communicate. We are sensitive in the way we convey our ideas because we know that words can be very powerful, and this may be frustrating to some NTs who feel that they must "walk on eggshells" around Feelers. Moreover, Thinkers may insult others or make rude remarks without recognizing that they've done so, or without recognizing the ramifications of what they're saying, simply because they aren't Feeling-oriented, and this in turn is recognized as a violation of the emotional contract that Feelers normally expect to be upheld. I emphatically disagree with this method of communication, as I find it very careless and overly-indifferent, but with that said, I understand why some of these Thinkers are the way they are, and don't expect them to change.
In my experience, I have found it to be the case that people who call themselves 'feelers' often use this very line of reasoning to justify deliberately obscuring, skewing, and biasing critical matters of fact.

    @kyliecarefree

We all think and we all feel because we are all human. One letter out of four doesn't make you anymore nice than than someone who doesn't have that letter.

INTJs have feelings, strong ones too

If I happen to focus on something besides what everyone around me is feeling does that make me less "empathic" or less nosy? It's not my business if someone's having a bad day. That's doesn't mean I act or speak maliciously. In point of fact it means I'm less likely to even say anything.

@bethdeth @Abraxas @Elyasis and whomever else. I'm sorry I offended you. If it's true that you feel no condescension or bad feeling towards NFs, then that was completely erroneous of me for inferring so. I realize my mistake and I'm sorry. Please forgive me for being so ignorant and for coming to such incorrect conclusions. This was definitely a learning experience, and you can trust that it won't happen again.

I can see how you came to the wrong conclusion. I was actually just hamming in my OP (on the thread) so the point could be made.

Went back a few pages and came across your post.

I had to call you out because you're one of the few people I've come across to actually 'get' the Joker.

Not sure if he's an INTJ though, I'm pretty sure he's criminally insane so he can't be typed. Also, he's a fictional character not necessarily based on a real person's behavior. Still, an interesting character study.

Although, the Joker from the Killing Joke is a different story. I would argue, he's not at all insane. But now I'm digressing from the thread topic..

My apologies, the Joker is actually one of my role-models in life. You inspired me.

Even tho your post uhmn contained some misinterpretations it might also contain seed of truth.

INTJ tend to have very different values than for example NF's.

For example if someone in government makes a proposition to accept immigrants from all over the world and offer them social perks like financial support by government because "every human has right to them"

Any INTJ or for that matter any NT would immediately realize that no country is capable of giving financial support for every African and Asian poor human, hence crush the proposition and make a point why did he do it (or the way you put it "walk on the eggshells").

Note:I might've gone little too extreme with my example, however it should make a point.

I have noticed that I have scared others when my actions and words consistently command respect. It is like I am a reliable source of sound reason. A kind of intellectual influence and deference.

My INTJ sis isn't what I'd characterize as 'terrifying' but I think many people who don't know her find her intimidating. She is so because she's sharp as hell, has one of the best bs detectors I have ever seen (and she's still relatively young at 25), and is so mature and driven that people know better than to approach her with stupid-chitchat talk. My sister is one killa INTJ. I'm lucky she's my sister, so I get to experience firsthand just how loving, loyal, and humorous she really is.
Oh, it doesn't hurt that she wears her signature liquid-liner cat eyes, so maybe that intensity of hers is only heightened.
