    Finding INTJ Personalities

Hey I am an ENTP and I am trying find what INTJ personalities are really like. From I understand so far is that they're analytical thinkers who like to judge and do not seek alot of interaction. Am I wrong? Am missing parts of the picture? Please help me cause a little birdy told me theese are my kind of people.

    Hi there,

Here's a basic, general description of an INTJ : INTJ Profile

Was there anything in specific that you would like to know?

INTJs have high expectations of people. For example, they would expect someone to do research on their type rather than asking open-ended, subjective questions that are difficult to answer (well) without a very lengthy response.

Here is an article that I thought was pretty damn correct and forgiving. It was obviously done by someone who has keen observation skills.

    How to handle an INTJ

I keep reading this thread title and hearing a voice in my head ask

Hey that's good that your hearing the words "on the street" because that's where I am looking for them. As for Lugha I have done my reseach that's why I am here. For me nothing that was not earned was not worth having. Back to the post I am tired overwhleming people with my personality and feeling a social backlash. I am in college studying engineering and thought I would find people who are maybe INTJ, ENTJ, INTP, but no most lack the confidence. So my question now is where in a college campus would I find these stronger personalities?

    The library?
There is no real pattern - in this sub-forum there are people studying all kinds of things - linguistics, computer science, music technology, film theory - in addition to more stereotypical fields within maths and science. Also, how quickly are you determining that these people studying engineering don't have the necessary confidence? Introverts may not seem confident until it comes to defending something they believe with conviction. It's also easy to mistake independence for a lack of confidence if you don't know someone - if they don't seem to want to interact, then independence could be the real reason.

ENTJs generally seem more outwardly confident. It may not always hold, but when I was an Economics undergrad there seemed to be a lot of ENTJs. I suspected the same of a fair few studying Business and Politics. They are probably the easiest to find, since they will often have positions of power in student societies, journals or councils.

You will probably never find us because we're "rarely encountered outside their office, factory, or laboratory." - Please Understand Me II

If you do, try to say something clever and you might just befriend us.
