I suspect the Fi is the reason that many intjs never admit their wrong, not just my friend but ive also discovered the same phenomenon in other intjs regardless of their enneagram. Any thoughts?
Well it's counterproductive to introduce a seemingly offensive statement with, "no offense," isn't it?

Some INTJs are just more confident in their ideas because they've put a lot of time and research into developing them. It might not be the Fi so much. INTJs are not as "whiny" as you're making them out to be.

Most people don't really feel that way about most INTJ they know, it's really just a stereotype that is propagated by those who have negative experiences with them.

Knowing what competencies strength in Ti/Se and Ni/Te tend to give their preferrers, it's very much possible, from our POV, that neither of you is "right" or "wrong," but simply strong from the point of view of two perceptive modes that are not complementary in the given situation. At the very least, I think we're owed a bit more information than an INTJ "never admitting they're wrong and being whiney" if those labels are to be applied across an entire type.
I think it might have something to do with a poorly developed auxiliary (Te) in my friends case, all im saying is that theres a possibility that some other function is the true reason. I just want to help.

Sounds more likely to me. Or, maybe even wacky Ni in a state of Se-deficiency? The problem with our best two functions is that if Ni goes off course, Te only makes it worse. We use Te to intensify whatever Ni dreams up. Since Ni runs off of the image, it needs real-world exposure to work right and deficiencies in Se will make our Ni insights far less-than-realistic.

Sounds like he's not getting the Se exposure he needs to support Ni. If he's doing things and they aren't working with obvious facts to support, then he'll intuit right away that his perspective is flawed. If he's being told that he's not correct but hasn't actually seen how, he may not have the common sense to see it on his own.
