    I think this video best represent the relationship between an INTJ and ENFP.
    What's the argument for Carl being an INTJ over an INFP and Ellie for ENFP rather than ENTP?

    I refer you to my post here: What do guys think of ENFP girls? (more actually to the three 'citations' I listed in that post... but...

    Anyway, every single woman I've ever been attracted to for more than 3 days has turned out to be an ENFP, and all of them took place before I learned about MBTI, so that speaks to the magnetic attraction at play here. That being said, not all ENFPs and all INTJs are going to work well together, there's certainly a few ENFPs on the forum here who I just don't like for one reason or another. It is my opinion that the ratio of successful matches is higher than with other types.... but honestly, relationships are a very personal thing, and there are at least five popular MBTI related theories on what is 'best'. Just go with what feels right, INTJ or not. While I will always keep an eye out for ENFPs who cross my path, if for no other reason than you're boatloads of fun, I'm not planning on excluding other N types (I really don't think I could stand a sensor of any kind.... :|).

    Nothing is perfect, although my marriage to an INTJ is challenging, rewarding and amazing. Yes, even all the negative things said about INTJ, i love those too. Like hoom said above, it really depends on the individual. We have 2 INTJ friends ( Male). If single, i wouldn't be attracted to either one. Both are much too sensitive for my liking, although my husband can be quite sensitive too , and clingy i must add. Me too, so perfect so to speak ;)

    So is this a perfect match, well no, it has its ups and downs like any relationship. Is it perfect all the time, no. I wouldn't trade it in for any other thou. I think it probably should have been stereotyped as the most challenging match, as this makes more sense overall than the stereotype of perfect. Either that or " Rocky road" . When its on, there is nothing i could compare it with. When its totally off, holy shite, nightmare city :D I don't mind having off days thou. It actually turns me on when he's semi hard to get along with, yeah, maybe i'm just crazy ( Steve jobs version of crazy ) ;p ;

    INTJ like every type come in many flavors. Personally i don't like vanilla, there is nothing you can say or do to convince me vanilla is good. I don't like the look, i dislike the taste, it leaves a sour bitter taste in my mouth. The beauty is, there is strawberry, blueberry cheesecake and chocolate. I love these flavors, sadly there doesn't seem to be near enough. When you do come across these flavors, its so easy to appreciate value and respect the taste. Likely because they are the rarest of all, unique snowflakes ; D ( half kidding with the snowflake ):p Anyways, try and use your Ne to make sense of this :)

    The downside. Take a few weeks and read through the INTJ forum. It can't possible be a see all, end all. Although it will give you a closer look into the mind of an INTJ. Then you can have a somewhat clearer vision. Its not the perfect place to base decisions on, although it will give you a little insight that there is as much a downside, depending on the flavor ;)

    I taste like 76% alcohol Absinthe. Also I can make people sick if taken in too much and will ruin the lining of your stomach and give you ulcers, but when taken moderately I can provide the best evening ever.

    Never said Carl was an INTJ and Ellie is an ENFP, it's just their relationship somewhat reminds me of what a relationship between an INTJ and ENFP might look like.

    (That Pinkie & the Brian couple that represents ENFP & INTJ together seemed offensive, anyway! Hmph!)

    Supposedly Elizabeth Bennet is an ENFP.
    Mr. Darcy is one of the archetypal INTJs.
    Perhaps that would be one.

    Also, I've decided that I have no ideal type.

    Oh really? Someone else thought she was an INFP. Imagine my excitement upon hearing that on the Pride & Prejudice book!

    Oh well. ._.
