what if the brain could fart? not a bad smell, but kind of distinct. like plastic dough. "what!, that smell...have you been thinking again?"(angrily). i wish i had a tuba right now. and could play it. and then an octopus got into it, tentacles and all. "what, how did you get an octopus in your tuba" my teacher would yell, spit flying down the hallway of all the dead christmas trees in the world

LOL I was thinking the same thing. I have a great friend who is an INTJ and the main difference between us is the fact that he has no problem getting things done. I told him I need some of his "J" to rub off on me occassionally.

I can tell you one thing that makes a difference. I suffer from additives in food and I can be very diffrent some days if something got into me ... some days I just think to hell with it I like that so I am gonna eat it and then lock myself in a cave for three days ... and growl a lot.

Hmm, I think that INTJ's are more focused on the ends rather than the means.

If an INTP and INTJ are building a sand castle, the INTP would likely find more enjoyment from the pure act of building and designing the castle than the INTJ.
The INTJ would probably find more enjoyment in the final product and being able to brag that he or she was the one who built the castle, than the act of gathering buckets of sand and forming grooves in the wet sand with a plastic spoon.

I think you just said there Ceembee that INTP's are the Architects and INTJ's are ar*e crack displaying Builders. Somehow I don't think that is going to go down very well.

Interesting that you mention sand though ...

I think the comment about Dubai was most interesting because the author of the 'Monument to Bad Taste' the present Emir of Dubai is often described as an early Indigo and whilst outside observers might see his actions as described above, they fail to appreciate that less than 100 years ago downtown Dubai was just a fishing village on the edge of a desert where diving for pearls was the main economic base. When you add to that the fact that Dubai's oil will be gone within 10 yrs the actions of this particular Indigo are based on survival ... the carrot that he is dangling reflects the bright shiny things that attract the majority of mankind and since Dubai is not a cheap place that is not the exclusive domain of the low income portion.

So is he INTP or INTJ?

This is the difference between INTP and INTJ. INTPs can easily post some absurdly random and seemingly irrelevant comment in a thread just for fun. INTJs almost never do this. They stay within the intended vibe of the thread.

I believe the attached picture sums it nicely.
