Look at the difference in the "Venting" and "What Pisses You Off" threads.
The INTP vent thread is 89 pages long and the INTJ is 1023.
The PO'd INTP thread is 200 pages to the INTJ's 659.

INTP's bitch and moan in their heads and bleed urine before unlaunching their acidic diatribes whereas INTJ's let out their frustrations with stupid people in short steady frequent bursts.

I have been thinking and i may be more P then J but i need an outside opinion.

First im Open minded. Willing to change my opinion on something if evidence is presented that contradicts to what i know.

I can never get into my school work even with assignments. But i have several interests that i spend every possible second researching trying to come to a definite answer and if that is impossible ill keep several possibility's in mind.

I don't mind if my room gets a little messy but about after a week of a small mess i will return it to it's clean state.

I am not concerned with following rules but usually there are some. Certain laws that are moral i will uphold such as stealing i am against.

Can't think of anything else right now. Bit dehydrated and i hate drinking tap water. Taste so bad but i love bottled water.

One of the repliers (from 2009), wrote something like:
""INTP thinks about what could be, INTJ thinks about what could be reality.""
Since you know you're INT, I think the answer to this question can help you.
At least, it's one way to look at it.

Your info is actually insufficient (to me), I can't tell.

    best of luck.

Not necessarily; that's another stereotype and doesn't have to apply to INTJs with a well-developed P.

I like to know about a lot of things, and after I understand their working I lose interest. Still an INTJ.

By the way, look at the cognitive functions rather than P/J.
INTJ and INTP are very different: INTJ - Ni-Te-Fi-Se, INTP - Ti-Ne-Si-Fe

It doesn't seem like a huge difference to me. Every test i do has me on a light J anyway but never a P.

With things like "application to reality" being used so much to describe INTJs, it seems like it's important to note that INTJs are still NTs, not STs. Application probably doesn't mean the same thing as it would to an ST. Because of this, I think INTJs and INTPs can appear similar in the way they seek after knowledge.

As an INTJ, I want to "know all things", and I don't really like to "specialize", yet I can't say I necessarily want to know everything just for the sake of knowing everything. I want to know everything so I have a complete picture of the world, or to make sure what I'm thinking actually is true, or just so that I'm smarter than 99% of the people I talk to and can win arguments.

In that way, my knowledge seeking still has an application, but doesn't necessarily have a "tangible" application.

Then again, I might be a closet INTP :)
