Tourism is supposed to educate the mind and enrich the soul, but sometimes it just gives people an excuse to behave more stupidly than they do at home. The scene below is a case in point:
These two young tourists ignored the local ban on feeding pigeons in Venice, hauling out a supply of bird food and using it to tempt the Piazza San Marco's pigeons into posing for a photo op.
For unexplained reasons, one of the visitors whipped an artificial penis from his jeans and displayed it to the pigeons and people in St. Mark's Square.
Two policewomen soon put a stop to the pigeon-feeding and pornographic display. (According to our photographer, they were polite but firm, and no pink plastic objects were confiscated.)
This belongs in the humour thread.
Not the WTF thread, because it is just to funny. No babies, at least abortion is accepted in Canada unlike are neighbour.
@track02 I guess when you are going to be imprisoned for years and years, you run out of things to do? I don't mind, and even like, tattoos if meaningful and not overdone.
I read this a few days ago. Today something came up in conversation with my daughter. She never heard the story either. Strange, it is a very marketable and milkable story of heroism. You would have to wind up thinking it was because they are a married lesbian couple....we wouldn't want to "see" this couple as "normal" now, would we?

I nearly put this in the Random News thread. It's not random as we pretty much already know about the "blood diamonds". It's still WTF and WHY? There has gotta be a better way to earn a buck.
This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread. Please consider creating a new thread.
