One of the most awesome things about NTs in general is their blunt honesty, and INT*s just put things so succinctly, there's no missing the meaning. Knowing where I stand, even if it's not the most pleasant place, is a whole lot better than being confused about the silent treatment and going through millions of possible reasons for it... >< And truth to tell, I'd probably color you cruel and hurtful in my mind...and convince other people of it too. >.> ENFPs are great at perceiving the most subtle actions and thoughts in others, but when it comes to giving a motivation to the action....I'm usually wrong. I'd probably decide that you just hated me when all I did was talk to you and give you some attention... By ENFP logic, that would make you a jerk. -shrug-

This is kind of turning into an interesting discussion in spite of the fact that I started the thread to bother knght990.
Huh... well I am perceived as aloof and blunt often. It's not me trying to be hurtful, just suddenly disinterested. But I'm definitely not going to tell someone to STFU if I barely know them. And I wouldn't mind listening if they say something interesting. Honestly, I don't have any E--- friends. You're right, they probably all think I am a jerk and most never bothered talking to me because I never showed interest after the initial meeting. My friends are all introverts and none of them react with something like "I defy you". I now have E--- acquaintances (more so now that my new roommate is one) and I see them acting all nervous with me. It's funny, I am starting to see why.
You are good at starting interesting discussions But I like knowing your point of view.

It could also be the rarity of INTJ women.... I only know a male one in real life, but I don't think I'd recognize alot of his quirks and preferences in a female right away. Societal expectations would generally lead one to believe that serious, intent silence is acceptable for a male...but that in a woman, it means something negative. >.> Much how male NFs have a tendency to be looked at oddly for personality attributes that can be perceived as more feminine... But in a way, I think it might be harder as a female. An "unapproachable" woman is seen in a much more negative light than a "sensitive" man.

I don't understand what you said, but I've heard the word 'bespoke' recently so I'll repeat it here even though it has no logical link to anything and is grammatically incorrect.

This is a very Bespoke answer to this issue.

Very true, only the good E's pweese. Although you really shouldn't be so defiant to us, or you will end up with lots of INTJ valentines cards

Alysaria, I'll answer your initial question. I may have a different perspective than what has been discussed (that is, if I'm understanding your question the way you intend).

"Defying" an INTJ in his/her field of expertise is like being in the Forest of Despair and throwing a rock at the dark wizard.
    or
Blowing a big raspberry at Death, then turn around to go bungee jumping.

Point being: you are asking for destruction

It's very intellectually provoking to be defied. Just keep malice out of the picture

ROFL thank you for your input, guys. ^_^ I'm not sure what I should be more worried about now....getting a horde of INTJs who are in love with me, or getting the fury of the INTJ directed at me. Either way, I imagine there will be much mayhem and destruction. >.> 20 INTJs battling over me probably isn't as fun or funny as it sounds.

Yeah, trust me, I know. I am so sick of people expecting me to be bubbly and gushing fake blubbery happiness and goody girl niceness all the efing time. Many are so offended by sarcasm! Too bad for them since it's hilarious.

On the good side, all the people that stick around through my initial weeding out process are very very good friends. It's worth it :)
Which E-type is the most subdued and thoughtful/non-spontaneous, non-crazy, works-best-with-INTJ? Is it ENTJ?

Ah, OK--so it's a sort of "less is more" (or maybe "brown is the new black") profundity. I can appreciate that.

Maybe that's what you ENFPs are supposed to bring to the table, that logic has its limits. Not every argument that can be reduced to a logical one, should. The corollary
(yeah, gotta use a logic term here) to that is that just because a proposal is logically sound doesn't mean that it is correct (except maybe in geometry homework). Interesting. Let me think about that some more....

    INTJ/ENTJ type interaction

This site has several good discussions about the different types and how they work with the INTJ.

Joking: Really? Are you serious? How could you----
    0k. Suit Yourself. :)
Seriosly: Well, could you please explain why you think that *open-mindedly processes information to form conclusion or at least tries to see where you are coming from*
If your opinion is just plain stupid then: Whatever.
If I don't care then: That's why they're called opinions....

Hope that helps. I think I communicate weirdly so....

    :/

I like my ENTJ friend but.......I get completely frustrated with her absolute defiance of rules merely because she doesn't agree with them. Rules she knows were put in place because people died. Her response is, well, im not as stupid as that person so it won't happen to me, so i'm not going to follow the rule. Thats how the last person got killed.
