    1. What's your partner's (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee) MBTI type?

    INTP

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?

Extensively so. It's very easy and natural, and yet surprisingly stimulating at the same time. She handles the intensity of my personality very well, and she says I'm one of the few people who doesn't snap at her flaky and unpredictable behaviour. We understand one another very well.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?

She's very patient. She's very respectful yet at the same time willing to call me out on my bullshit. I like her child-like enthusiasm and eagerness. I like how she makes those stupid, unnecessary side comments while we talk about things, even though I breeze right past them and don't dignify them with a response.

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?

I've been with an ENTP before, and our relationship was pretty bad. 95% of our relationship was an intellectual power struggle. I've never been with an ENFP myself, but me and Feelers don't particularly match; they make kickass friends, but they aren't really partner material for me.

    1. What's your partner's (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee) MBTI type?
    INFP.

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?
When I first met him, I was turned off immediately. He didn't look or act in ways that appealed to me. But he was persistent and eventually I came to understand that there was more to him than the way he interacted with the general public. We grew close quickly and get along famously nowadays. When I'm with him, I emote much more than I do with others. It's fascinating to me how he makes me feel things that are contradictory to what INTJs are known for. I feel extreme empathy for him- when he is sad, I not only sympathize with his sadness but FEEL genuine sadness as well. It ruins my day to see him upset...But yeah, I would say I enjoy it.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?
He is well informed about important issues and interesting history- he can keep my attention. He understands, accepts, and appreciates my unique personality in world where not many do. Whether we are conversing in a serious manner, making jokes, or just laying together, I feel naturally happy. I enjoy being around him and consider him to be the only person I know who I wouldn't mind having around 24/7. Of course, both of us being introverts helps that.
    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partners for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?
That's a cute idea, but I know personally I could not stand to be romantically involved with someone who was extroverted. I need way too much free time for that. I think having either a T or an N in there is important, too, because of the implications of deeper thinking.

    1. What's your partner's (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee) MBTI type?

    She's an ENFP 7w6

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?

Love it, surprised myself that I could be lovey dovey and all emotional at times, a very nice surprise I'll say.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?

She knows me, like she can tell if I'm pulling a face even if we're not looking at each other, she can guess my reactions before I've even reacted just stuff like that.

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?

I think its function based isn't it? Ni dominants are best suited to Ne dominants. However, my INTJ mother has an incredible relationship with my dad who is an ESTJ. I don't think it really matters, its about individuals. Our function order is such a small point of our personality that it almost beggars belief that we invest so much into it.

    INFJ.

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?
Everything I knew I always wanted.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?
How smart he is, how good of a listener he is, how considerate he is, how serious he is.

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?

Maybe for some INTJs. I'm undecided. I'm a pretty intense introvert; I don't know if I could date an extrovert. Plus, I really like INFJs.

    1. What's your partner's (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee) MBTI type?

    INFJ.

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?

Very close, fabulous, we work together well, and learn a lot from each other, our different ways of thinking help us to see every possible angle. Absolutely love my INTJ-INFJ relationship. (His nickname is orgasmatron, he is THAT good).

    3. What do you like most from your partner?

He loves to give affection, and doesn't mind if I'm not so forthcoming. That and the acceptance we have for each other.

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?

I honestly have no idea. I may have been with one in the past and not known, but those relationships ended, so I'd probably say... Probably not.

    INFJ

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?
It's a lot of fun. We flow together really nicely. She is up when I am down, I am up when she is down. She just laughs at my reticence whereas most people get offended by it or can't handle it without getting self-conscious.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?
Her enthusiasm, energy, social skills, creativity, wit, straight-forwardness, sweetness

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?
I think INTJ's need someone who is good at socializing and is willing to put in the work in dealing with people whereas the INTJ wouldn't. Someone who can get the INTJ out of the house, practically dragging him, and thus bringing him out of his hermit ways. My INFJ girlfriend is good about that.

    1. What's your partner's (spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiancee) MBTI type? ESTJ

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it? We have ups and downs. I think every relationship goes through those stages. He just happened to be an ESTJ. I don't care much about the type, but he has met all of my standards. I'm so proud of him. People think I'm so lucky to have him. Most males in my place are selfish and lazy and my partner happens to be the opposite. It's a rare find to find nowadays. Do I enjoy it? Absolutely. But of course there are times that we were both so angry at each other but those anger were just ephemeral.

    3. What do you like most from your partner? I like that he's very action-oriented, can be counted on, likes to do manly things, fixing things, and all the things that I'm bad at doing. He has a sarcastic sense of humor that I love so much. Something that we enjoy doing at each other, lol. I really like extroverted males with strong T qualities. And having a J partner is a bonus. We get along with our Te-ness. Te-dom rocks \m/

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why? Yes I think so, but a type's compatibility is not a determining factor for a relationship's success. Each must be willing to give and take for the mutual benefits and happiness of each other. And different type has different needs. A person must know and act upon which needs are needed to be satisfied, otherwise, conflicts may arise if one partner has unmet needs.

I think the reason why the Ne-doms ENTP and ENFP are said to be ideal for INTJ is because both speak the same language, the dominant Intuition. Understanding each other is effortless. Communication is ideal. The motto "Birds of the same feather flock together" applies. And also the saying "Opposites attract" applies. Some said that those types are INTJ's soulmate because they possess the qualities that INTJ's lack and vice versa. A person tends to find some characters and traits that are missing to his/her personality, and someone's opposite can fill it, that's why this theory of compatibility came out.

I think the one I consider that understand my innermost thought is the ENTP I know. And I guess I understand him too. We understand each other in a level of unspoken understanding that gets what each one think without having to verbalize it. But there are characters of each type that needs to pay attention I guess in order for an ENTP/INTJ relationship to work. In an ENFP/INTJ, I have no idea. I haven't met one in real life. But based from the posts I've read, that is a problematic combination. An INTJ can be too cold, and an ENFP can be too suffocating. But I guess, the female ENFP male INTJ is more ideal than the other way around.

    ISFJ (I'm INTJ)

    2. How's your relationship with them? Do you enjoy it?
    Very good, love it.

    3. What do you like most from your partner?
How affectionate she is plus she is extremely intelligent and immediately picks up on what I am saying. She complements me well, she seems to do a lot better on things like thoughtful presents than I do, I do better on concrete things like financial planning. She is also very detail oriented around the house which is nice as I feel like I need things to be organized and clean or I get stressed.

    4. Do you think ENFP and ENTPs really are ideal partner for INTJ? If so, what do you think make ENTPs and ENFP ideal partner for INTJ? If not, why?

I think an extrovert combined with an introvert would eventually wear on both partners. I need my space, getting dragged out all the time would wear on me, and staying private all the time would wear on the extrovert.
