    Conversations Ahead of Conversations

I usually will know parts of conservations that I will have later in the day. They don't always go as planned but a lot of the time I get this intuition and have time to rehearse before the conversation. Then I see it happen and I wonder. It's kind of freaky. Do you do this? I'm always thinking of things in my head before they happen. I used to get all paranoid about it like I was some psychic seer but then I came to reality and realized that my future oriented mind likes to predict future events and then prepare before them. It gets me into trouble when I don't trust it or if I don't pay attention to it. It's like subconscious but still accessible yet distant to grab at. Maybe that makes me an INTP since I can't quite grab at the Ni. INTJ's could be deadly. I wonder if some of you have Ni so strong that you are mainipulating and willing your own realities by having the foresight to see the future events and then to alter them based on your liking.

I"m always planning out future conversations if I know I will have to have certain ones. It's a fun sort of game to see what comes true and what doesn't and when I'll need to actually think on my feet.

I do this all the time. I think its natural for the strategic thinker to work out alternate strategies to forseen conversations.

but it isn't always what it is cracked up to be, at least not for us female INTJs. We might understand it more emotionally what is implied...where a male might not have, but also a lot more things are considered rude in coverstation when it comes to the female aspect.

Sometimes I will predict things that are going to go wrong. Whenever I have gotten the "maybe you should do this just in case it becomes necessary," feeling, and have failed to heed it because I talked myself into thinking it was silly or too much trouble, my failure to pay attention to it has ended in disaster. If I got a feeling right now that I should go inside and stop sitting under this tree just in case there was a lightning strike, I'd pay attention to it, because with my record of accuracy, I'd be foolish not to.

Often, I rehearse conversations that I might have, that I want to have, or that I have had. In the last case it can get really annoying, since I can't exactly change it, and usually the other person has already forgotten the conversation if I try to go to them and correct what I said (occasionally, I've done this years after the actual conversation).

Very rarely do I actually have the conversations that I plan out and rehearse in my head, but it does happen. Usually doesn't go very well, though...

Yeah. Is this because for INFPs and INTP's Ni is less accessible? I think the INTJ would be deadly if they were imbalanced with lots of extraverted sensing. They could take advantage of all the variables and manipulate reality.

I also used to find this to be true, because I think that when you see certain people you naturally fall into a "script". It's like you can only talk about certain subjects with person A who you have known since high school and while you've changed over the last few years, you still talk to them the same way you did in high school almost so you fall into this script of the way you talk and act and interact with them. Person A thinks that you haven't changed that much and you think that Person A hasn't changed that much either.

Also when you talk about certain subjects with someone for the first time/couple of times you're still feeling out how much they know and their views compared to yours and so on so you tend to ask the same questions and get the same responses, no?

Maybe I'm way off to what you guys are talking about- If I am, I apologize!

    Always.

    It's like rehearsing almost.
