Omg, last night, my ENTP hubby and his friend (he said he's ENFP but i'm not so sure lol) started talking about inventions, and then my husband got all ahead of himself making all these plans about what we're all gonna do when we're rich.lol. All I could say was, who's gonna actually act on this and make it happen? cuz i know neither my hubby or his friend will do anything about it, so to me, it was useless conversation, to them it was very possible and obtainable. I'm not a pessimist at all but I'm very realistic and useless optimistic or wishing/dreaming about something better annoys the heck outta me. It was hard for me not to get annoyed. Thank God my ISTJ girl friend was there, we just rolled out eyes at each other and laughed it off, she's a bit "calmer" then me, I HAVE to say something, she'll just roll her eyes. Ugh . I get annoyed so easily.
Is it possible for ENFP guy to be very technically inclined (computers) and have knowledge about everythingggg , lots of detailsss lol, and everytime I ask a question, like, "how do you like your eggs cooked?" he'll say something similar to "well the atoms that surround the molecules in the eggs, change it's shape while you fry it...etc. etc, i'm not exagerating, he'll go on and on and onnnn about something i didn't even ask, what is that type? Can that be ENFP? I was thinking INTP lol, cuz he uses many big words too.

LOLOLOLOL yes it's possible and I think that some people might describe me that way... I'm a library of random facts and "oh the way you did that reminded me of this article I was reading on this tribe in the Amazon..." It's supposedly a fairly common ENFP trait.

My wife and I went to the bookstore to work on some stuff last night and she pulled me to the bar to study... we tried to but ended up coming up with a whole company, name, logo, and all for T-shirt designs and had like 5 pages of designs sketched out. ENFP/ENTP tangential frenzy... it's my life. I like it :) We know we'll probably never do anything with it but it's just so much fun to talk through these things and brainstorm. Those little flashes of insight feel so good shooting out of your brain!

Really? Then why the hell do they say that INTJ's and ENFP's would get along? I can't freakin stand him!! lol. No offense to you cuz I do think he's a bit crazy (well at least that's my excuse for not being too annoyed with him), and I don't think he can stand me too much either cuz I get pissed, yell, he keeps telling me i like to contradict people just for the fun of it, which i don't, then he told me he thinks i'm a sensor which I'm not, no matter what I try to explain to him, he takes it like...I'm just trying to contradict him so that I'm right. I don't know if he's an ENFP or not but he just irks me the wrong way. He's a nice guy for sure but u know...goes into details too much, i don't like details, i like straight -to -the point, answer my question and we're done type conversations. I sound boring, I'm not though, I promise. :))

My dad's an ENFP. I asked him for help in math homework once. He decided that the teacher's way of teaching it was silly, and he should teach me calculus instead. Three years before I was supposed to learn calculus. He spent two hours trying to teach me as I tried to convince him that I would be marked on doing it the other way. He had lots of fun drawing sheets on paper and cutting them up to prove various things, or something, but it didn't help me finish my damn homework. *headdesk*

Well there's quite a bit of variation I think.. and typically we will act very differently around different people. I don't much buy into the Kiersey relationship thing... being very happily married to someone that I'm not supposed to have a good relationship with and all.
