    INTJ - The Scientists

A clip from the movie was included on a thread asking how long it took to identify the INTJ. As the other person on the clip was ESFP it didn't take that long. This movie, "Ninotchka", with Greta Garbo wasn't available 10 months ago on YouTube but it is now:

Recently worked my way through an old British TV series called The Prisoner (brilliant, BTW), and there's little doubt that Number Six is INTJ. I'd put my chips on 8w9 for enneatype ("I will not make any deals with you. I've resigned. I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own. I resign.")

Patrick mcgoohan is an amazing actor, if you can manage to watch him in "brand" then I suggest you sit and have your mind blown at his performance. Chillingly good.

Haven't been able to find a Region 1 copy of it. Sunuvabitch...

Also: After a lil sleuthin', it seems McGoohan himself was INTJ.

This in no way surprises me :) I find some of his Characters detestable* but sooooo compelling at the same time, I wish he had done more work in the hard ass mode :) "danger man" is quite fun too, sort of a lightweight precursor to the prisoner except the agent he plays isn't the same.

Was thinking of the prisoner remake the other day, apart from Gandalf being in it as no.2 it was a total fail.

Check out ice station zebra for more mcgoohan it's not "brand" level performance but it's a favorite film of mine and Ernest Borgnine is in it along with (I think) rock Hudson... I'm having trouble remembering things at 1.10 am here :)

    * relentlessly hard and unforgiving, totally resolute and merciless. Brilliant viewing though.

    INTJ - The Scientists

Some of my favourite INTJ's not mentioned yet:

    Politics:
    Otto Von Bismark
    Edgar J. Hoover

    T.V:
    Dexter (Dexter)
    Bobby/Crowley (Supernatural)
    Mac Taylor (CSI:NY)
    Jim Sterling (Leverage)

    Movies:
    Mal (Inception)
    Hugo Stiglitz (Inglorious Bastards)
    Edgar J. Hoover (J.Edgar)
    John Patrick Mason (The Rock)
Patrick Bateman (American Psycho; not sure)

    Video Games:
    47 (Hitman; maybe Diana too?)

I really like both House and Sherlock, but House seems more like an INTP/ENTP sometimes. Sherlock is INTJ in the book and ENTP in the movie.

I hate HOUSE! It is so boring! Does it make me less of an INTJ to say so? I like his acting outside of House however.

Greta Garbo is awesome. I spent my childhood admiring her!

    Help.

David Mitchell is... probably an INTJ, but with famous people it's just very hard to tell. He might be just a little bit too traditional - but he's very logical otherwise, and his improvised rants are better than the ones he's written for his Soapbox. He largely gets irritated [not angry] at the particularly stupid things about human socializing.
Then there's Charlie Brooker, who is less well known but does even more ranting, frequently against humans in general, in a very angry [and comical] way. Then he randomly breaks character and defends 'having emotions' and/or 'having a soul' [while screaming defensively about 'love'].

    Suggestions?

    EDIT: a little tidbit
Mitchell - "You keep going on about people's souls all the time."
Brooker - "That's because I want to know what it feels like..."

    ....And then there's Frankie Boyle.
There is something slightly more logical about mitchell, I cant really explain why but he sounds a bit more Ni to me. His rants tend to pick on inconsistencies and stupidity in a slightly more objective way. When brooker rants, he comes up withs lists and associations that sound a bit more Ne to me.

John Galt from Ayn Rand's Atlass Shrugged is definitely INTJ.

Can I throw a fictional character in here? The Little Prince. What WAS HE? Sorry for the simplicity of that :p
I was debating on Andy, and the Edie in me slapped myself. Some of the greats are meant to be debated.
