I'm curious about the INTJ's performance in school. Highschool or college, it doesnt matter.

    Hhhhmmmm....

In my last year of high school I ended up with a 91.5% average on a scale of 0 to 100. In university my cumulative average was 75.8% on the same scale. Average here being defined as the arithmetic mean of my grades rather than the other interpretations that do exist such as geometric mean, median or mode.

In high school my GPA would have probably been really low-- if I had been tested. I had no motivation or interest in doing school. I only did homework that interested me, which was next to nothing.

In college, my perfectionism and desire to learn as much as I can simultaneously kicked in. I'm just starting my 4th semester with a cumulative GPA of 3.89, and I'm hoping to pull off more high grades this semester to boost that average back to a 3.90 or higher.

Sophomore year: 4.33 (out of possible 4.33) Both semesters

Junior year: 4.17 (out of possible 4.69) First semester

Although, I was one percent away from an A in math [if solid A is maintained until 12-week mark, B+ will be retroactively changed]... and passing the College Board AP test in another class will automatically give me an A both semesters for another class. Hence, 4.5 So hopefully I grab those opportunities.

I ended high school with just under a 4.0 on a 4.0 scale with weight given to college prep classes (Physics, AP English 12 and Calculus). Basically, I got As except for Band and Gym, IIRC. Valedictorian.

College was another story - I think I got around a 3.1. Basically, I suffered from going from an environment where things were so easy that I barely studied to one that was, um, vastly different. I was a gnat's breath from Seeking My Educational Opportunities Elsewhere after the first two (of three) quarters of my freshman year and then began to pull it together.

In my undergrad I finished up with a 3.52, cum laude for our school...graduate school thus far I'm pulling a 3.4, and this school is notorious for grading harshly, at least for the graduate classes (I've had a few professors who can count on one hand the number of A's they've ever given out).

My undergrad I had a couple classes that killed my score, most of them centered around my minor. I care more in grad school, but it's a lot more demanding, too.

Highschool, I think I did okay (3.5 ish)....but there were some classes I did horrible in simply because I found them horribly boring and a waste of time.

All of these are based on a 4.0 scale.

Cool, we get to watch everyone talk about how wonderfully intelligent they are. Those who did poorly will usually avoid the topic, or lie, lest they seek pity and consoling gratuitous thanks. Those with great scores get to flaunt it around as if a GPA could possibly define the depth and breadth of anyone. Though there was no direct comparison made by the OP, the aside here will be an inferred notion that MBTI is indicative of intelligence, and in particular that INTJ's are superior. While having great scores is something you should be proud of, personally (and I'll probably be subsequently beaten by my peers here) I value modesty and the individual, regardless of how they scored in school system intelligence ranking.

    That is all. Please continue.

I never had a high GPA before university because I refused to take a book home from school. I don't even remember what my grades were, but it was somewhere around 75-85% simply because I absorbed most things if I managed to attend a class.

I have no clue what my GPA is. *Note to self: See guidance counselor*

I do pretty well in school. Usually, all A's with an occasional B.
