Question: What defines our sense of humour from a theoretical standpoint? I ask because although my INTP best friend and I get on well, I feel that our senses of humour are quite different. What is the key difference between the types that leads to not getting my jokes, for example?

I have a question for the INTJ's. Specifically for any Type 6's actually. If you are in a bad mood and you feel like the world is against you, what would you do to feel better, what generally makes you feel better?

I mentally prepare a death list of those that I wish to murder, each murder more horrific than the last. Other than that, I just switch off and ignore all things possible.

Wow, on a posting rampage right now. Anyway, this is just a theory of mine but our humour tends to be more dry, quick-witted and sarcastic. There might even be an element of "over the head" referencing that you are maybe using. Have a look at his jokes and pick them apart to see how his humour is different. It might be a good experiment to see.

Damn that's happened to me twice in the last couple of days. I saw that post though. MJ theorised you may have been a philosopher...not too far off I would think. I think I'm probably a few of them. A couple more if I was really honest with myself.

I guess in the rare situations I do have actual stake in a discussion I am a mix breed of philosopher and android.
